In this guided tour, Jeff from Sunny South Vacations will give you a deck by deck tour of @norwegiancruiseline 's NORWEGIAN BREAKAWAY. This is a tour of the the first Breakaway Class Ship for Norwegian Cruise Line. It was launched in 2013 and went through an update refurbishment in 2020. This ship is packed with over 326 meters (length) for fun for every member of the family. It has pools, waterslides, splashpads, bars and lounges, a theatre and a ropes course. On my weeklong cruise vacation on board Norwegian Breakaway I found time to enjoy almost every experience the ship had to offer. I started my vacation poolside and even dipped my toe into a jacuzzi once or twice. The live band that performed on the main stage by the pool provided a fantastic soundtrack to kick start my rest and relaxation. In the days that followed I enjoyed the the sport court, running track, ropes course and the waterslides. On sea days it was nice to escape to Spice H20 which is the adult only sanctuary at the aft of the ship. I treated myself to a day in Vibe which is the ultra exclusive beach club pool deck area. Yes, it did cost a few extra dollars but the exclusivity of the area and the service was well worth it. The dining and drinks were exceptional. I really enjoyed all the choice from the buffet to the main dining rooms (Manhattan's was my favourite) to all the amazing a la carte restaurants. Into the evening our group enjoyed some of the casual lounges but our most fun was had at Syd Norman's Pour House where we enjoyed an amazing cover band who played the Rumours album cover to cover. Not to be out done was the dueling pianos show put on by Howl at the Moon at Headlines Comedy Club. This band was no joke. They rocked out for at least two hours only playing requests from the crowd. Other highlights included;

It looks like they got rid of mini golf below the ropes courses and rock climbing on the back of the funnel!
Hi @maxeisenman3006 good eye. Yes, the rock climbing wall and mini golf course were remove when the ship went into dry dock during the pandemic. It is my understanding that they expanded the funnels to include some new equipment which required a bit more space and resulted in the rock climbing wall and mini golf course needing to be removed. Have you sailed on Breakaway before or are you scheduled to sail on her soon? Sounds like you enjoyed the rock climbing wall and the mini golf.
I just booked a cruise on the breakaway. It will be our 48th anniversary. Not much was mentioned about handicapped passengers and I would like to see my cabin virtually to see if an inside cabin will have enough room for my scooter. We've cruised at least a half dozen times with Carnival and their cabins are more than sufficient for a wheelchair or whatever you have. Well, now that I've unloaded on you, I really liked your video!
Hi @gailruge2564 congratulations on your upcoming 48th Anniversary. You're such an inspiration. I don't believe that Norwegian Cruise Line has virtual tours or offers stateroom measurements to guests. I'm guessing you booked an regular stateroom and not one marked as 'accessible'? If that's the case you may want to give them a call. Alternatively, if you booked your cruise less than 14 days ago I could potentially offer some more help to you personally. If you did book less than 14 days ago and wish to learn more about how I can help you with this matter please feel free to email me at jeff@sunnysouthvacation.ca . In short, a booking made less than 14 days ago can be transferred to a travel agent which would allow me the opportunity to call Norwegian on your behalf. There would be no change to your booking at all (no change to stateroom, dates or price) everything stays the same. Hey @mattmosco8456 thank you for stopping by the channel and for watching my video tour of Norwegian Breakaway. Your cruise vacation countdown is getting really low, you must be getting super pumped. You won't be able to use cash on board. Your room key is your credit card on board. There may be an option to pay that onboard bill with cash at guest services but none of the shops will accept cash. I'd ask guest services upon boarding the ship.
