Thank you so much much for your very instructive tuition I’ve made a lovely cow I put a ring in his nose as they have them in the UK and a tag on his ear ❤
Sorry, one more thing, I guess I cannot say enough good things. I love the way you add the steps after each part. I cannot read a general pattern because I have ADHD and dyscalculia which is dyslexia but with numbers. The way you break it down here makes it easy for me. If I forget what you said, all I have to do is wait for that screen and pause it while I finish. You are my favorite teacher.
I am so new to amigarumi but not crochet. My grandma taught me as a child. I am now 46. You have taught me so many things I never heard of like the hidden decrease, how valuable! I am on my ears now on the cow but I couldn’t wait to comment any longer. I have been taking my cow to and from places as I have fibro so it takes me some time to finish a project. Well a kid at my sons college saw him peeking out of my bag yesterday, horns held on with needles 😜. I forgot my ear color at home. He comes over and says, did you make that? It is so cool! It made my day as I was feeling bummed I forgot all the stuff I needed for the day but had carried so much not stuff I needed with me. You explain things so very well, I will be following you for everything. Thank you thank you. Oh and to edit, my cow is way bigger than yours as my animals seem to be no matter what I do. You said your legs come out sideways at least one. I was dedicated to making sure I got mine straight. Well….i got all sewed up and sure enough…one back toe is facing out just enough to be cute and my head is slightly facing to the side too 😆😵💫. But like you said it adds cuteness and my counts were off. But I did it all like you said. I even pulled it out, tried again. But you kept reassuring me that it would be ok and it was. Everything is proportional.
OMG I just came across your chanel. Only on chapter 2 your absolutely amazing. My son has been after me to make one. I have a written pattern but don't understand what the heck thier saying. Thank you so much😊
Awesome love this highland cow,had a little problem with the making of the mouth and the horns but I finally got it. Great tutorial ! Thanks for sharing this !
I Love this pattern and the way you teach it, very down to earth Thank you for that. My one concern is if there isn't really a set stitch count for each row how would I know if I'm doing it correctly and it will turn out like it's supposed to. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Stitch counts are spoken, written, and put on the screen during the pause screen. It's generally written in brackets next to written instructions..ie 1sc ea. St. (18)
@@BeyondtheLens53 what I'm referring to is where I thought you said that your stitch count changes and never the same maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean can you help me out. Sorry I don't mean to be a pain just to be able to do it and do it right. Thank you for your patience.
@@beverlysmith1953 Im sorry i must have misunderstood, i thought you said i didnt give a stitch count, my opologies. What i mean is, If i could make say 3 cows, and the odds of having the same count after sewing 4 legs to a body bridge, is highly unlikely , based on how many stitches i used to sew the leg on, or where i stick my hook to make my stitches in the following row after i sew the legs on(ie. using sew spaces or not), so i could be off by at the most 4 stitches per round(just an example) because there are 4 legs to sew on. I give the counts i get, but that doesnt mean it will match the viewers numbers because they may have sewn their legs on differently then i did. Does that make sense? But even being off numbers , it will still look like a cow, you would have to be off 10 or more stitches for it to have any sort of impact on the design.
@@BeyondtheLens53 yes that's what I was asking and no need for apologies it can be confusing with messages it happens. Now that you explained it that does make sense. Love your tutorials please keep them coming. Thank you and have a great day.
@@beverlysmith1953 oh good im glad i could be helpful, sometimes i dont articulate well, lol. Enjoy the day, and if you need anything else, dont hesitate
I didn't do a tail because it's just hair, considering the hair we put on this fella, you wouldn't see it anyway. But this video was made 2 yra ago, so I won't be doing a tail video, but there are alot on TH-cam that may have designed a tail.
Hey, great video. Gonna be making this for my mum's xmas. Just wondering, do u have a written pattern for this. Would make following along easier for me. (:
