Hey man! 😄 As per your request: I'm the one who submitted "Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell" as my number 1! 😋 And thank you for your words, it means a lot! 😃💙📚 I'm also 1 of the 2 that submitted "Sixth of the Dusk" to the list, as well 😋
I love both of these stories because of their darker tones, and me being a dark fantasy author, they fit me like a glove (or a pair of gloves, rather 😂)! And I personally classify both "Shadows [...]" and "Sixth of the Dusk" as dark fantasy, which may explain my affinity to them. 😊
I'm actually releasing a fantasy reading vlog next thursday in which I talk about both of these books, as well as one of your favorite short stories/novellas 😉
Take care, and thanks again for the shout out! 😃💙📚

Hey! 😃Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell is such an underrated story! That's awesome you placed it in the #1 spot! I also like the slightly darker tone to this story, it makes it a very unique Cosmere novel, and I wish more people would check it out. Sixth of the Dusk is fantastic as well!
      Happy reading to you! 📖📚

I haven't read all of Sanderson's books yet. Need most of the stand alones and I probably won't read his YA stuff because that doesn't interest me. But here is my top 10 of his so far:
    10. Shadows of Self (4 out of 5 stars)
    9. Towers of Midnight (4.5)
    8. Alloy of Law (4.5)
    7. Oathbringer (5)
    6. The Bands of Mourning (5)
    5. A Memory of Light (5)
    4. Words of Radiance (5)
    3. The Lost Metal (5)
    2. The Gathering Storm (5)
    1. The Way of Kings (5)
Noticeably absent in my top 10 is the first Mistborn trilogy. I liked all of them; gave each a 4 star rating but I liked these others more. If I didn't include the WoT books 2 of them would make it onto the list along with RoW. But I would rather include the WoT books since they are much much better overall than Era 1 in my opinion. Everything I've read of Sanderson so far has been at least a 4 star.

    • @robsch21

The Reckoners series was my first approach to reading Sanderson. First book, amazing. Second book was okay. The last one I hated with a passion, I was so mad about the ending that I didn't want to read anything else by him 😂 (Of course, I continue reading him, he's one of my favourite authors)

I am new to Sanderson beyond TWOT as I just decided after my 3rd time through that series it was time to dive into Sanderson's other works.
I love the prequel New Spring and all the rest of his work on Wheel.
I adore Tress and it will now and forever be a Favorite fantasy novel.
I agree, The Emperor's Soul is outstanding the magic arts were so good my daydreams often go wandering there.
And my last Sanderson is Warbreaker, which I enjoy the color aspect and the Royal "Tonks" hair but, it dragged and lagged at times, and was way too predictable.
Around two-thirds of the way through, I felt like, I could guess the rest, and I had.
Beyond Wheel, my ranking of the bit I've gotten to is Tress, Soul, and Warbreaker.
I am here on the hunt for next up should I go with a Novella? a Stand Alone? Or is it time to dive into the sexy massive tomes I'm flirting with?

Say, Brandon Sanderson 10 times fast. Nope. Too slow. Brandon wrote another book before you got to 10.

I just finished oathbringer and I'm currently reading dawnshard. I had a hard time with words of radiance but I think it's because I didn't like the story of shallan, I found it boring and I found myself eye rolling whenever a part of her story interrupted some event lol. I like her but not as much as the others
