As someone who had no one to show her these things in life. Thank you for a basic understanding ❤

Respectfully next time lay a tarp along the trench to put the soil on. Rather than walking back and forth. That’s what time saving technique I have to say. Landscape management and time saving techniques are key to not breaking your back.
    Plus lift with your legs.
Respectfully also it made me dizzy as well.
    But good job! 👍

I live in Georgia, so a pickax is a necessity. Georgia red clay and softball-sized rocks make digging a pain. You are right about taking breaks often.

I did not know I didn't know how to dig a trench correctly. I tried your approach today and wow was it so much better. I even was able to save most of the sod!

I recommend learning picture-in-picture. You can run a tripod wide view in large size for the main part of the screen and your head-cam in small in the lower corner. It does take more memory space for the 2 videos, but allows people to see what you are doing from multiple angles to get a better idea. Otherwise great and very informative video!

I'm looking for a video of someone who knows how to use a digging bar properly. I want to show someone. If you have to cut the ground with the shovel, you're working too hard. Good job using the tarp. I often wound up having to dig without one and found those contractor cleanup bags worked well. I did this for a living for a VERY long time.

Am I a moron for tamping the bottom down before I lay the stone and drain pipes? Maybe I just wasted time lol. It wasn't much of a break though

Need narrower trench for water/sprinkler lines. Good tips. Getting dizzy though 😢

I don't hate the trenching shovel. This yard is the rockiest crap on earth so it's a nice tool that I think replaces a couple. It's not the best however at any 1 thing. It would be better to have a flat shovel for edging and a pickaxe but it does good enough I think at both to replace them for my uses. Good video though. I would have way rather saved the sod like that than the disaster I made

OK maybe you are just the guy to be able to help. Under normal conditions like this video. Do you have an average time per foot? or 10' feet by 18" deep? Thank you.
Do you happen to have a video on easiest way to screen the hand dug soil?

Home Depot Husky Gloves. Some padding, but mainly leather.
