I attended this SGI-USA meeting with Rosa Parks! Wow, what a memory. Her brilliant light shined upon a dark age in mankind and we must never forget what a single person is capable of. A great revolution in just one single individual will help achieve a change in the destiny of a society and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of humankind.- Daisaku Ikeda

I was doing research on Rosa Parks to present at an SGI Student Division meeting, and I came across this video. Truly inspiring, and I'm very happy to find that Mrs Parks had spoken to a crowd of SGI members :)

She is so brave she’s my role model if she gave up that seat to a white man she’s standing up by sitting down

Just a few souls in this world get this human life to leave a legacy that is cherished and followed for centuries..What a single person can do to transform the lives of Millions can be well seen in Rosa Parks...People like Mahatma Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King etc. have done to this world is worth emulating...the scope is always there for anyone to raise oneself for any social cause which may bring smiles, relief and love for the generations to come.Salaam.

A truly great woman. It is too bad that the Soka Gakkai turned her into another one of their promotion schemes.

It was her praising Dr Ikeda and the efforts of the SGI. This has been posted by the Rosa Parks institute, not the SGI!
