Love your work! Question - is that the freight terminal with the blue roof? If not, could you get shots of the freight terminal construction in future videos, please. Cheers.
It is definitely taking shape, however what will the capacity be after stage 1, it appears there are only 14 spots for planes, just how many airlines will be using Western Sydney.
Same number of airbridges as Adelaide which serves almost 8 million passengers a yeas with around 14 passenger airlines and 3 cargo airlines. It will take some years to build up the numbers but would be nice to see them starting to grow rapidly and building more gates.
Looking at the International Terminal at Sydney Airport, I count 22 gates. As for Passenger Airlines, I have only heard of QANTAS and Jetstar (Qantas Group) signing up. The airport will be in 24hr operation, and I have seen capacity stated at 10 million passengers a year for Stage 1.
Only 1 Runway !!! .. Typical of Australian planning and building… A joke ! … but…someone mentioned that 2nd runway may be built in 25 years from now….. 😂😂😂😂 Plus minimal amount of aerobridges ffs !
Good progress. Two years to go. Great footage. Thanks BJD.
I have been with you since day one on this. What excellent coverage of this epic task. Keep up the good work and thank you, thank you.

Amazing progress. You'r updates are fantastic 👍 Thanks
Great footage. Thank you for the update
Glad you enjoyed it
This airport has the architecture of a Westfield development.
Your best yet. Thanks.
Lots of progress made. I guess I won't have to grow old too soon.
Now all we need is a tunnel under the blue mountains to open up the central west of NSW
That would be great
But who is going to pay for it ?
@@dropbear6740the minns government 😂
The same people who paid for the new western Sydney airport. The new metro railway in Sydney. Centerlink. Medicare. The Australian taxpayers 😂
Love your work!

It feels like yesterday that this was all just an endless, barren wasteland for as far as the eye could see in any direction

Will there be railway running to it?
yes station box well developed along with rail corridor and supporting stations
Make video of Queanbeyan,NSW
Look like a shopping mall 😢
Opportunities for innovative design and new technologies lost. This is just a box with a Metro station that's not properly integrated.
might look impressive but terminal is way too small. only fits 14 planes
how many should it fit. Stage 1 is sized for 10MPPA all 4 stages is 80MPPA

There's another 7 yet to be installed.
They could have upgraded Canberra airport and put in a very fast train.
I know right it would help so much Canberra is the 8th busiest airport we need it
What, for cheating, corrupt lying politicians and families. Don’t think so
Looks impressive! Bradfield is a joke though☹
What a boring farking name - Bradfield? - ffs. Call it a local Australian name ffs - how about Darug city or something
Bradfield as a name has significant history in Sydney with John Bradfield arguably being the most important person in the development of Sydney.
@@JayJayGamerOfficial then name a motorway after him
Looks too small already.
Was great country land , what a waste
Get a life
@@MD-ib4ixNo need to be rude mate, also Vincent, it won’t be a waste in a few years
What a pathetic airport!
