Ethan...Hello from Ohio. I thought this was a dynamite podcast and I wanted to thank you for posting this. I cannot believe this has been online for over a year with just a few views. The info Jodi shares is priceless and should be required viewing for any family experiencing the winter before the 1st day of classes. I have listened twice and will be applying what I have learned in my communications with the FAO.
Thanks a ton for this podcast, Ethan. Much, much appreciated. 🙏🙇♂ I also found your podcasts on Essay writing to also be very useful. As a parent - if it weren't for the last-minute rush to complete the CA essay - I would have had my kid take the paid course from your organization the summer after the junior year. It would have served her very well - and she & us (her parents) would have suffered a lot less stress. 🙂 (Imho, I think that your essay course should be as much part of the junior year requirement as SAT is). My daughter did come up with a good CA essay eventually, after reviewing all the open-source materials that you have so generously made available on the YT and on your website. So, thank-you very much for that. May you and all yours be blessed for the generous spirit that clearly comes through so well in all your videos. 🙏
Thank you for the video. I had my daughter accept the award letter but the school is not giving her any money only the Grant's from FAFSA and the LIFE scholarship which she earned for her ACT scores and grad in the top 20% of her class. Can we still appeal even after accepting the award letter?

I believe it's tricky to appeal after accepting the offer, but I might reach out directly to the school to ask!
