    Why don't demo the other side interaction? You could draw and they (remote side) could as well. So how could and which application support that?

    How do I access the built in pc? District tech says it doesn’t have one, but there’s an option it’s just grayed out.

      Hello! This video is intended for teachers within our school district and speaks to our specific configurations. Our district purchased the OPS PC modules for all our boards, but that is an upgrade component. It sounds like maybe yours wasn't purchased with the OPS module that would run a Windows PC, so I would go with what your district tech says.

    How can you use multiple boards at the same time and how can you annotate a document if you are scren sharing or using a codument cam?

    • @redlandsintech
      @redlandsintech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Each board has an HDMI out port, so you can daisy chain boards together, but will need to work off of whatever is your primary board. The annotation layer sits on top of whatever is displayed on the board at the time, so if you connect a document camera as one of your HDMI inputs, you can then annotate on top of that with the built-in annotation tool.

    We have had one of these put in our classroom. They havent paid for the windows feature so we have to use the laptop. My question is whenever we are on powerpoint or smart notebook if we want to change the slides we have to click the laptop rather than the screen is there a way of fully controlling the laptop through the screen?

    • @redlandsintech
      @redlandsintech  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. For that you'll need to use both an HDMI cable and a USB cable. Take a look at 20:09 in the video to see a demonstration.

      You'd need to use some intermediary media to do that, as there isn't a way to transfer files from the Android OS to the Windows OS directly. We've previously used a USB flash drive for this. 1 - move the file from the File Commander to the flash drive. 2 - Boot Windows and log in. 3- Retrieve the file from the flash drive and move it into your Windows environment. There may be ways to do this with cloud storage too, but that's been disabled on the Android OS part of our Newline boards.

    Anyone how the sync works? I go into the browser, put my username and password, and then nothing actually syncs - no bookmarks, passwords, etc. If I try to put my info in again, it tells me I already have it in. What's the purpose of syncing if nothing actually syncs?

    • @redlandsintech
      @redlandsintech  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds like you might need to do some troubleshooting with your Chrome syncing settings. Sync startup: support.google.com/chrome/answer/185277; sync troubleshooting: support.google.com/chrome/answer/9175737

    What if "Window" isn't part of my welcome screen?

    • @redlandsintech
      @redlandsintech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dana, in that case, you might not have an included Windows PC module with your Newline board. You might want to check with your district's IT team to see if this is something they have included in the purchase (the Windows OPS is an upgrade component).

    How do you add user profiles? Everyone talks about it, but no one shows you how!!! So frustrating!

    • @redlandsintech
      @redlandsintech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Since the "PC" portion of this is just a regular Windows computer, you'll log into it the same way you would on any Windows device. For an example of this, please see the portion of our video at the 2:16 mark for the protocols within our district.
