Styles don't 'belong' to a generation, it's not stealing to recreate it, it's a homage if anything. I'm of the generation that feels most tied to this era and style myself. This emulation is pretty overused *in general *, with every other person pointlessly slapping on an exaggerated vhs effect - but it's been done well, and more authentically, here.
