      Dear Sohail,
      I trust this correspondence finds you in good health and spirits. It has recently come to my attention that you have been persistently extolling the virtues of Bahria Town, positioning it as superior to Karachi. While it is undeniable that Bahria Town is a meticulously maintained and visually appealing enclave, it is essential to acknowledge that Karachi presents significant merits that merit consideration.
      From my own experience residing in Karachi, I can attest to the exceptional comfort and convenience that our metropolis offers, often exceeding those found in Bahria Town. The 700-yard property I occupy in Karachi affords a level of amenities and autonomy that substantially surpasses what is typically available in Bahria Town, all the while mitigating the steep expenses associated with utilities, security, and maintenance which are prevalent in Bahria Town.
      It is imperative that we allow individuals to enjoy their chosen living environments without unwarranted comparisons or criticisms.
      The quality of life enjoyed by Karachi’s residents is not merely adequate but frequently superior in various aspects. I therefore respectfully request that you acknowledge and respect the preferences of those residing in Karachi and avoid undue promotion of Bahria Town.

    Well said, Pakistani people will have pakistani attitude even if they live in Baharia or even paradise. So why keep expectations so high from baharia but baharia still gem in karachi :-).

      I am very sorry if I came across as snobbish where I disrespected all other parts of Karachi to boost Bahria Town. I have lived in Sukkur and then various cities of Karachi including North Nazimabad and used to love that part of Karachi besides many other areas. Karachi has changed a lot in last 25 years and mostly towards worse. Your 700 yard property in Karachi may be twice or more expensive compared to Bahria Town but perhaps not twice better when it comes to living peacefully. Yes, Bahria is lacking in many services which are available in Karachi and for that we go to Karachi when we have to avail them but on an average, I may be spending 20% of my time in Karachi and rest in Bahria. Bahria is where I feel safe and that is the most important factor in choosing Bahria. Same goes to Malir Cantt. Bahria is the cheaper option around Karachi to live peacefully. It will still be cheaper to live in Bahria with all the added expenses when you compare it with Karachi. Businesses are also moving in Bahria because it is cheaper to rent a place here and with no power outage issues which Karachi faces all the time. Bahria is not for rich folks rather cheaper option if you can tolerate the commute to the Karachi. I am retired so no daily commute. Again, I just put an honest comparison based on my personal experience. I am very thankful that you took time to give your opinion as it is very much needed for folks to hear that also. Again my intention was not to put down other places but recommendation was based on my personal experience. Perhaps I should interview you to share your side of story ? Which city do you live in ?

      @@sohailabdali I wish to address an imperative issue: the cessation of mental harassment. The populace in Pakistan is enduring profound distress. Allow individuals to reside where they are, while you remain in your own domain. This is not a period for self-comparison or ostentation. The current state of affairs starkly contrasts with the past, when families dined together modestly.
      For example, if an individual from an old Karachi locality visits for professional reasons, such as maintenance or cleaning, they should consider themselves fortunate merely for having a roof over their head, rather than being mentally harassed about their home being in an old, rundown area of Karachi. They should be grateful that they don't have to pay a rent of 10,000-12,000 rupees per month and that Allah has provided them with shelter.
      Now is not the moment for belittlement. If you cannot offer assistance, refrain from exacerbating others' feelings of inadequacy. Ultimately, we all share the same destination: the grave. Your statements betray a sense of arrogance. I have observed fortunes shift from affluence to destitution overnight. Embrace humility and avoid measuring yourself against those in financial straits. People are already under considerable stress; do not compound their burdens.
      Furthermore, while you frequently state in your TH-cam videos and comments that only a few areas in Karachi, like Bahria Town, Defence, Malir Cantonment e۔t۔c are worth living in, remember that all these places will remain unchanged when our time comes. Remembering the grave and our ultimate destination should keep us humble.
      May Allah safeguard and support us all.

      @@sohailabdali Thank you immensely for your counsel. After having spent three decades in Dubai, a city replete with international amenities, I find it imperative to convey a singular message: Engage with others with utmost humility and approach them with profound modesty. Avoid vexing people with your words and ensure that arrogance and pride are conspicuously absent. Always remember, we are but a moment away from becoming dust. May Allah include us among the humble, and may our words never inflict mental anguish upon others.
      Life is fraught with inherent difficulties. I am acutely aware that numerous families in Karachi are unable to settle electricity bills of 2500 rupees or gas bills of 900 rupees. I am profoundly grateful to Allah that, upon my arrival, I shared my experiences and the prevailing circumstances with my friends who continue to reside in Dubai. Collectively, we established a communal fund, which I administer. Each month, this fund alleviates the burden of electricity and gas bills for several families experiencing severe financial hardship. Neither those who are relieved of their bills are privy to the identity of the contributors, nor are the contributors aware of the beneficiaries.
      I implore you not to further exacerbate the mental strain of those already beleaguered. Be thankful for the blessings bestowed by Allah and refrain from incessantly flaunting your wealth. Specifically, I advise against converting your expenditures into dollars, as it creates an unnecessary disparity. Speak in terms of Pakistani currency if you are residing in Pakistan. Contemplate the distress of an individual with a salary of 33,533 rupees when confronted with discussions of 1100 or 1200 dollars.
      What I intended to impart is now conveyed. May your perspective evolve. Although you present a seemingly gentle demeanor, strive to orient your videos towards discussions that foster human betterment and encompass a broad spectrum of viewers. Caution people about Allah, particularly the arrogant ones, and remind them that this world is ephemeral. Nothing will accompany us after death; we depart empty-handed. Dollars, grand mansions, edifices, and status will remain here.

    Askari V is another option. Great location and super safe. Bharia is practically too far if you have to be in the city even few days a week. Also, their legal challenges with SC are not getting easy. I know people who have plota on precient which were declared illegal.

    • @sohailabdali
      @sohailabdali  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Malir Cantt is always a great option for those who have money. Basically Malir Cantt including Askari 5 is about 3 times more expensive compared to Bahria Town. A 3 bedroom apartment in Askari V is about 90k per month on rent and you will find easily a similar apartment in Bahria for about 40k. Now the SC and Riaz Malik issue is not a big deal and all the plots which are being available for sale now are fully cleared. Some plots got in trouble in the past and they got accommodated later on. It is such a big area and so many well known folks living there that no one can touch the BTK. Malik Riaz is not the owner of BTK rather a developer. Billions are invested by private investors in BTK

    • @babrdwod7464
      @babrdwod7464 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Malik Raiz being a developer is precisely an issue as SC targets him hence the land comes under question. I know people who forfeit their legally purchased land in Bahria as suddenly it’s no longer shown within the boundary. I hate to break it to you but it’s not as clean and clear cut with Bahria. It’s a nice area to rent if you have no practical reason to be in the Karachi city more than once a week otherwise cost of gasoline alone going to offset the saving you will do on lower side of the rent.
