I was a Vanillla player, have the boxed version with CDs... played casually on Vanilla and BC, and got into raid for WOTLK, geared on guild 25 man Icecrown, killed Arthas in Raid 10 before Cata arrived. It was so cool and fun. I did the weekly tasks to collect badges and prepare for raid with vendor gear, did a lot of HC dungeons, leveled up alts... my main was a demo warlock, top DPS on our guild raids (my rival was a caster druid). I was so sad when Cata came.... I played a bit through from Cata to BFA, some raiding on Cata, MoP, just leveled on Legion and BFA (I spent time going back to old dungeons to grind mounts and pets), when I gave up. Some quality of life changes were rolled back, Blizz wanted us to stay online a lot, heirlooms now have levels that have to be upgraded.... real money in game became an issue. I saw your video and will try to setup my own server. I don't want to engange in group activities, just explore the game alone (or friends at home if they want). Really appreciated your video, some knowledge required but you gave us the head start. Already checking other content. Subscribed!
When opening HeidiSQL the acore_auth tab is empty and has no items. What am I doing wrong? Also I'm getting an Invalid Invite error while trying to join the discord.

@@hungariannerd8445 So i followed the video to a T, and i can get on if i use the local IP in my realms list.wtf, But if i plunk in the DNS form noip like you said into the WTF file and then put the client computer on a different network than the server ( to emulate friends trying to get on ) it wont allow me to get into server. i noticed at 2:43 you set up your DNS as budepest.zaptop but at 5:36 you have it as bootybay.zapto in your WTF file. So A. why? b. what could i be doing wrong here .

Yo, you can with Radmin. Just use the radmin IP address of the host in HeidiSQLs 'address' cell and in the realmlist of the clients trying to connect with it.
alright so i was watching some your older videos and saw the back of your computer have an animated background but now you dont so i assume windows 11/10 doesnt have the ability to do a animated background. what operating system where you using before that allowed you to use animated backgrounds?

So running into issues trying play my brother issue I keep having is i can set all stuff to internal and connect with just me then he cant connect when I open it up with externals he can connect but i get stuck on realm select, is it possible for me to host server be on it and have him connect? We are currently not in same household as he works out state we thought be a fun time killer when hes away from home.
hello do you know if it is easy to make a 3.3.5a server and limit it to classic content? i have some pretty good ideas and would love to cooperate with you basically like a server that is classic with 2x xp and 3x faster rested rate, a run button that makes ur character sprint for 10 secs with a 30 sec cooldown, and slightly faster base movement speed 10% or so, i call it world of speedcraft i can host

I watched your original video on setting up a private server last year and it was incredibly well made and easy to understand :) This new one sounds interesting, Auction house and transmog bots sound greatm however i was wondering if you could expand more on what you mean by NPC bots? Does this mean there would be bots roaming the world as player characters, doing quests and leveling up etc? If so, then how far does this go? Can you get them to participate in dungeons/raids, or in pvp arenas? Thanks again!
you can add bots to your party, issue them commands, and do dungeons/raids with them. in my vanilla wow tutorial you can add them to battlegrounds and fight against them in PvP. There are auction house bots as well. but, the Vanilla wow server currently has the easiest implementation of them
