I love how they added in laughing and taunts to give the bosses more character such as Tropy's laughs in this boss, Brio's mumbling whenever he's hit in Crash 1, Dingodile's laugh when he's charging his flamethrower, and Cortex's laugh actually sounding genuine in the final boss of Crash 1
I agree completely. Aside from tropy's voice (Imo), EVERYTHING about what is already my favorite fight in the series has been improved, and my hat goes off to the devs for it.
Love that little effect they added when the camera angle turns and the environment changes in high speed instead of the fade to white transition in the original :D
I love the way N. Tropy says "Skunk" in this game. The only way they could've made it funnier, though, is if they'd had him tilt his head back, like in the original. That part ALWAYS sets me off! >XD
I don't know, I'm not a fan. :\ Don't get me wrong I love the facel expressions in the warp room cutscenes and the smoother transitions of the he boss room but something was... Lost. In the original you could tell just how pissed he was at you! He brakes part of his time twister before he delivers his "skunk" line and starts silently attacking you, he's dead set on taking you out with everything he's got! In this version? He gentley puts the time twister away, says his line with mild annoyance and laughs like cartoon goon while he fights. Not nearly as intimidating if you ask me...
Taking Crash 4 into account, I think his portrayal fits the fact that he's got a very, VERY high opinion of himself, and that he doesn't even consider Crash to be worth getting angry at. I mean, we all saw to what extent he loves himself
I think for N. Tropy in particular are far more small and stiff compared to the original version, if you look back you can see how big and bouncy he is in the fight compared to the NST version. Not to mention there is not much "oomph" with the visual effects in NST
I think there's something lacking in this version. The graphics might be better, but his attitude has been changed a lot. It just doesn't feel the same.

Yea I played the ps1 version as a Kid This one Is Trash Better Graphics doesn't mean you can be lazy with everything else. Audio is Muffled, The clock hitting the floor sound effect is Gone, No Energy In His Voice. Absolute Garbage 🗑
the platform fades had way more punch in the original, the projectiles were like "what the FUCK are THOSE", the sweeping beams were bright as shit, and getting killed was so violent it practically blew out the screen with weird shockwaves this was like pissing off a doctor in the emergency department. the original was like poking a sleeping dragon.
Take a closer look, the clock is not falling now, its upper part is still visible over the platform edge. Now it looks like Tropy did not accidentally push the clock, but purposefully moved it back not to hinder him in a fight.
I know that Corey Burton is voicing him in the N Sane Trilogy and I realy respect his effort but Im gona tell ya that every single time N Tropy open his mouth I always saw Captain Hook in front of me because Corey Burton voiced that character for years !!! Hahahahahahahaha !! Im just saying

The best one would be Uka Uka's laugh and "Uaarghh!" when he fights Aku Aku. God, it just changes everything about the boss fights.
His remastered boss fight is impressive.
