This new craft reminds me a lot of what it's like in Ubisoft's The Division 1 and 2, which would be really good. Basically, instead of counting on luck when rolling the attributes until you get what you need for your build, you choose the attribute you need, whether in weapons or armor and the force is to farm material to increase the power of that chosen attribute. So the focus of the game would be on farming, which is positive because you don't just farm FE to buy items, you start creating your own items, the game isn't tied to coin farming and the items wouldn't have an absurd price. (in my opinion of course)
I've been digging through the patch notes, if you decide to do a video I'd recommend breaking it down into categories. FYI, some of the legendary hero memories were absorbed into the hero traits.
how can anyone be surprised that Torchlight is a very niche game that people play for a few days and stop or don't come back to after season 1 (sometime in the past) if they can't keep "permanent" things. EVERY season they change how crafting works, what currencies are there, how end-game maps look like, what levels are there, map cards, add/take away compasses, completely change skills, traits, powers, etc. Zero permanence in the game and its mechanics, to have your favorite playstyle, character, build, etc. Cannot have fun with legacy characters bc they are practically invalid after the season. ughh i really want to play and like this game, but i dont have time to fighure it out every season and try bunch of characters to find whats fun and meta for me. Its gonna be same story as always, maybe few thouands of players for a week or two . oh and POE 2 starts in November soooo..
It is a relatively new game so I think they're trying to find what works. But I only started playing this season and seeing all these changes its def hard to keep up
I love that they change things every season, it keeps it fresh at league start and make fun to discover interactions, at the base they are the same anyway, it isn t a compleate change just a rework, the mechanics are the same every season + the last season mechanic so idk what u bulshiting with the zero permanence thing
Bless the daily quest update, thank the lord
