I'm skeptical about most of the info in this video: When the DeWalt DW099S was said to have "two AA batteries" the image on screen showed two AAA batteries. When the Leica DTO E7100i was said to have an OLED display, the video showed a pretty standard LCD display.
do any models work with an offset (not just add/subtract) entry? Do any models work point to point (P-P) using range, angle and inclination to calculate the measure between two distant outdoor points?
I want to use such a device with a plastic corner-cube reflector plate, which reflects THOUSANDS as much back in the direction of the emitter than a white paper-like surface. (See Lambertian reflector.) I want to measure 500, 1000, 2000 meters, with a resolution of 1 millimeter . Problem is, I don't think the device will 'wait for' such a delayed reflection, even when it arrives late. And, of course, the display doesn't have sufficient digits to display this.
@@Utubeisazzho maybe about 100m approx So we need to buy target separately along with laser distance measure device? What are ir monocular? Are they accurate in compare to the laser ones. Thanks for your reply

How about PD-E from hilti ?

Why not compare DW0330SN that has Bluetooth and very comparable to others with similar features?!
Bosch is terrible outside. I have one and it won't measure outside in the sunlight past approx. 20'.
Which would be best according to you for outside as well as inside?
Thank you
That’s why there are targets you hit with the laser. Maybe get ir monocular. Are you trying to see 250’ in the day or 10’

The Dewalt clearly had a Bluetooth symbol on it....
Not sure why he said it's not smart.
BOSCH GLM165-27CGL

Worst voice ever. I can't watch/listen.
1 minute of wasteful hype!
Common, cut to the chase!
Leica disto x6 is far superior
