Looks like a 3 moa trigger pull.

My gun club base OEM rounds are PMC & Frontier 5.56 and .223, 55/62/77 gr PMC are all MOA or sub MOA in all Diamondback DB-15 the guys and gals own. There is an issue with your AR that your hand loads are compensating for gents.
    Just some advice...

I find the PMC 223A ammo to be very accurate in the 3 rifles I have that shoot it. No idea what was happening here, but it is far from representative of my experience and that of others shooting the same ammunition.

I suck at shooting and PMC bronze boat tails were practically touching each other. Hand loads should have been better also. I guess bolt is more accurate than semi, idk

I shoot the PMC Bronze a lot. I notice some of my groups open up according to cold or warm bore. I group moa or less with a cold barrel and notice stringing as they warm up. Never do I get that garbage you had for a spread. When your man was shooting, he jerked the trigger and shot pretty fast for a guy that wants to concentrate on accuracy. That being said he did the trigger jerk on the loads but his group was right in there, but he did shoot slower too. All my guns hate 77 gr Sierra. PMC 55 eats its lunch. All my barrels are 1:8, 16, 18, 20" and they all like 52 to 55 gr. go figure.

From my PSA 11.5" 1/7 nitride the PMC 55gr hpbt is just over MOA at 100 yds. From my PSA A2 20" 1/7 chrome lined it's MOA at 100 yds. From my girlfriend's no name carbine 1/8 it's about 2.25 MOA. The A2 shoots the longer, heavier stuff well too, but I'm sticking with the 55gr. It's consistent.

Seems like with the pmc he is jerking the trigger a little more than with the hand loads. That plus not being sighted in with that ammo is more than likely the reason the pmc isn’t performing like you thought. I’d try a slower trigger pull and hold the trigger back and slowly let it forward and hold on the reset. You’ll get a more accurate representation of accuracy. Still the hand loads being higher grains will and should outperform the 55 grain pmc

This is common when firing out of a 1:7 twist barrel. Go 1:8 or 1:9 twist and get better results...i personally use pmc bronze on both 8 and 9 twist producing 1 to 1.5 moa.. got rid of my 1:7 twist ar been happy ever since

PMC BRONZE 223 4k rds from 3 different lot #'s. Ruger 556, Diamondback DB15, 13.7" BA Hanson barrel personal build with surefire warcomp pinned and welded. All moa & sub moa at 100yrds. The results in this video don't match mine nor 11 other AR platform shooters I know who shoot PMC BRONZE

I have a S&W sport ll I use the FMJBT 55 grain from pmc it's a gold box
I use this for home defence due to the damage it causes to meat at close range a extremely accurate and powerful cqb caliber/projectile

Honestly I really really don't want to be a hater but I shot overseas That was my job to see a spread like that like that it's not realistic unless it was intentional

That's awesome man, I'm sure you had fun shooting overseas. I don't really know what to tell you... that is a real video with real guns, real paper, and real bullets. Sorry it doesn't seem to match your experience. 🤷‍♂️

I use a match rifle for XTC and I can sub MOA with the PMC at the same distance with iron sights (they are also). The 77 Sierra and the 68 and 75 gr can also get sub MOA. The rifle as well as shooter technique is very important and you guys such the big red one. Belatedly these comment are about an old video but if you don't want realistic comments, just take the video down.

So your barrel doesn't like pmc ammo. I have a cheap bear creek upper 20 inch heavy barrel 1 in 7 twist it hates Hornady ammo 2 1/2 inch groups with Hornady frontier 75 gr bthp match but loves the Hornady superformance 53 gr varmint load. I bought it to shoot heavier gr otms but I've actually shot sub 1/2 moa 5 shot groups at 100 yds. With the 53 gr. Sometimes you get lucky the barrel likes everything and sometimes you have to spend a fortune until you find a load it likes that's factory ammo or hand loads so buy ammo where you find it different mfg different weights etc had to do the same with my bergara b14 hmr 308 I have 16 different boxes of ammo at the house lt loves federal premium berger hybrid Hunter but hates Hornady precision 178 gr I found 4 loads that shoot under moa and 1 shoots around 1/2 moa. spent a lot of $$$ but got it figured out.

I wouldn't call any part of this video an extensive or conclusive test in any way. Take it for what it is.

Pmc will shoot moa from out Howa 1500.......very different twist in your barrel. Your twist is made for your handload bullet weight. You are way out of your twist rate dude. I have a 22-250 with an 8 twist that will shoot 1" groups with 90 gr bullets, but shoots 55gr same as your gun does.......it's all about twist VS bullet weight. Study up and the light bulb will come on, promise.

I think this is highly altered I have done Marine Corps shooting Do delete galleries do not want to tell how I shoot but there's no way there's going to be that much of a spread with PMC bronze at all You are talking a 16 wide group that's all over the place and then you grab a different hand load is Brent handload and you're parking them all in A Is 2MOA areaHate to shit on someone's party but but the video you have to think about the time in between to be able to re 0 arrival in the spots in between when the cameras are shut off this is not factual even even with a shittiest ammo I'm still grouping at A moa At a 100 If you are a real shooter At a 100 mind don't even leave the size of a nickel no matter whatBrand of ammo I use I will say occasionally there's a flier but that is to happen But to go from something so tight to something that is 6" wide I've not realistic

Sorry boss, not altered. Although I cant promise the shooter was perfect 🤣

I think twist rate on a heavier projectile has some to do with it. Good shooting regardless. Still pretty amazing difference.

You may be right. I'll look into it for the next video. Pretty sure I'll be picking up a .223 W barrel soon.
