Any time any kind of seafood is involved, I'm all in! Being from Massachusetts, seafood or fresh water fish has always been a huge part of our diets. When I was a kid, we were dirt poor after my Dad was disabled by a massive heart attack when I was 7. But, during the summer we did a lot of fishing in local ponds and rivers, so we always had plenty of fish in the freezer. Dad was a great cook, so he made lots of different kinds of chowders, fried fish, fish cakes, etc., especially on Fridays. ;)
That dish of yours brought back a lot of memories of those days. Thanks for the memories, Tom! :D
It sounds a lot like my childhood Lori, this is the real reason for this channel! Sunday dinner was a big deal in my house, and I believe in this day and age its gone. Memories are good for are health, the more the better! I definitely do appreciate you Lori for your support!
