If what he said is true, its means that the previous weeks they used to construct decoys and deceive operation to inflate the defensive line behind while waitting for reinforcements. Its worked for a while until the scout party of Russia come too close and figured out the trick at the first line. When received reports from the front line, commanders from Russia immediately ordered entire force to storm the line before any reinforcements can be sent to stabilized the situation and flanked them. Without reinforcements and ammunitions, entire brigade has no choice except run for their life.
I was born in Ukraine. My parents speak Russian and I’ve learned some, but we moved to America back in the mid ‘00s. I hate that this war even needs to have happened in the first place. Ukraine fights for nothing. We should be brothers, Ukraine Russia and Belarus. We are not enemies. They are payaing their private military factories to produce and send (you can look it up). Im Danish and im proud to admit that the chip in my old washing machine was shipped to the Russian front lines a few months back. I can almost feel like it made a big difference. It was soon after that Russia started their big air campaign. I think they take out my chip of every plane that comes back from a mission and puts it into a new one and sends it off to a new mission. How else would they be able to keep planes in the air?

Мы забрав крым опередили их! Потом власти Укр объявили АТО (Анти террористическую операцию) на Донбассе хотя русскоязычные украинцы и русские на Донбассе были не террористы а сепаратисты но они решили что это будет АТО! не логично да? Началась гражданская война на востоке украины потом в 2018-19 начало все стихать но артиллерийские обстрелы продолжались с обеих сторон и в 2022 власти украины попытались военным путем вернуть Донбасс но власти Донбасса в феврале 2022 подписали с Россией соглашение о военном сотрудничестве по которым мы как союзники обязаны вмешаться если Донбассу будет угрожать военная агрессия! И так 16 февраля украина начала усиленный артиллерийский обстрел Донбасса и начала стягивать к нему армию Донбасс начал эвакуацию гражданских и объявил мобилизацию! мы (Россия) под видом учений тоже начали стягивать к границе восточной укр армию! как только мы подписали договор о военном содружестве с Донбассом и мы признали суверенитет республики Донбасс мы уже в 22-23 февраля ввели армию в восточную украину одновременно уничтожая ракетами военные склады с боеприпасами и военные объекты стратегического назначения! Я помню когда все началось я не спал четверо суток курил сигареты и пил кофе :) вот так все началось

В феврале Россия Россия вводит войска причем в смехотворно количестве. Если вы посмотрите на события февраля-марта, то видно что Россия пробивается к ядерным станциям. На Украине их 5. Чернобыльскую и Запорожскую удалось захватить, ещё 2 на западной Украине. А вот до Южноукраинской АЭС дойти не удалось. Тогда войска развернулись под Воскресенском. Agree from position of native Russian speaker. I use (english) subtitles to understand all of the words and not just 85% when watch english videos usually, but History Legends and few other channels so understandable that its no need for subtitles

People don,t understand fully what happened. If any one thinks "and it,s only 6 km" Then think again. For the Ukrainians it's a catastrophe, the front was pierced fully. One of the main positions was taken and with it the Ukrainian front must be moved , re-trench up. Brigades moved and a new line of defence placed. Not only that. The Ukrainian army lost some of the weapon warehouses ammunition and heavy weapons. Since over a year the Russian army dosen,t lose any territory with it they can and are doing it, recover equipment and damages vehicles. The Ukrainian army since a year losses over half of the damages vehicles with out the possibility of recovery. It,s a matter of time when the Ukrainian Army will completely fall apart. I admire the Ukrainian soldiers but the reality of the situacion is like it is.
Your claims are false, Russia is on the offensive so it's obvious that they're losing more equipments in the phase of the war. Many t-90s, air defense were destroyed, and many men in the process of capturing the territories. You think all is well on the Russian side but in reality they're suffering many losses as well
@@rorygiltin2382 They are to be sure, but his point is perfectly valid: A lot of equipment isn't destroyed completely, it can be recovered but only if it's in relatively safe territory. Russia by advancing constantly is able to recover both a lot of their own damaged and abandoned equipment and Ukrainian equipment.

"recover equipment and damages vehicles" means that in contrast to the Ukrainian army the Russian can recover damaged vehicle more often. Both sides had massive losses for the simple reason that the war is the biggest war in Europe since WW2. Still the Russian army is winning. I am not a fan of any of the sides. But better to have a realistic point of view at any given situation than to lie.

Which would make NATO countries more broke, and the copious amounts of aid to Ukraine would eventually build bad sentiment amongst the public because, at that point, their taxes wouldn't be representing them as much.

This is the price a small country pays for not being neutral when next to a more powerful neighbor. Poland in 1939 made the same dumb move.
Same here! Just a few years back you could not even imagine the kind of war that we have today between Russia and Ukraine. The tensions about Crimea existed since early 1990s and they even made both documentary and motion pictures about it back in the 90s but you still could not even fathom a full blown conflict over it.
Also note how the two remaining people who were instrumental in the dissolution of the USSR - Gorbachev (Russia/USSR) and Kravchuk (Ukraine) died in 2022 shortly after the start of the war. Kravchuk died in May 2022 and Gorbachev in August of 2022. I understand they were old but I suspect the events of the 2022 proved to be too much to handle for both of them since whatever happened in 2022 between Russia and Ukraine was somewhat an echo of what Gorbachev, Kravchuk, Yeltsin and others did back in early 1990s. Gorbachev and Kravchuk were the only two from the top gang who were still living when the war began in 2022.
