Hello Daniel, I would like to thank you - and Patt! - very much for the great content you provide. You both are a great teachers. I am a 54 year old lady from Austria, lifelong visual artist and educator, currently studying computer science again. I am using this summer vacation to recreate your entire NOC playlist. My wonderful daily routine: Go for a swim in the early morning and then code! Your channel has inspired me to make my diploma thesis based on js.p5. I will also order your book. Big fat thanks for everything and please never stop doing what you do!
34:02 the this dot song started playing in my head. i'm a totally sane person and absolutely not Dan-damaged, no. * sweats nervously * 36:15 ah, there it is ❤
Instead of custom calcAngle you can use Math.atan2(y, x) it returns radians angle betwen the vector (0, y) and vector (x, 0), you will not have to check quadrants.
It would have been so cool to have the points on your face do all that movement and oscillation when you opened the mouth instead of having random letters like that.
your neural network playlist is very helpfully, We are expecting you to create a very simple model for AI LLMs from scratch using either PS5 or JavaScript, with your great explanation thanks

What a fun collab - thanks Dan😃Excited to be doing lots more sketches with the new ml5.js!! 💜
Congrats on the collab, Patt!
@@StevesMakerspace Thank you!
I felt a little tired and didn't think I was going to watch the entire video but I did, and it was fun.

great to see Pat getting featured - she's amazing
Great to see two of my favorite TH-camrs on the same video!
I really like Patt's teaching style!
Great guest! Thank you Patt!
Thanks to all of you for sharing useful tools.

Stunning stuff from Patt!
ml5.js is Magic :-) Take care.
Wait, ml5 is 1.0? Hell yeah!!
Happy Belated Birthday, Dan the Man!🎉🎉

It seems like the angle would always be either pi or 2pi by your description
See p5js atan2 ref page second example.
I was going to just comment on that. Atan2 is the way to go.
Awesome , thanks 😍
My two favourites. 🎯
Amazing 🎉
I am so Proud of you
OMG dream collab xxxxx
Hope you bring back weekly coding challenges
Very nice collab.
Nice one!
i just wondered how long it would take to see you both in one video
Wow
Thank You !!
24:00 Wouldn't a double nested IF statement be more efficient? Or at least making the range -180 to 180 then adding 360 if below 0.
I have the older version of the nature of code, I really loved it, is it worth getting this one ?
hmm 🤔 would it be powerful enough to calculate gaze vectors...
It would have been so cool to have the points on your face do all that movement and oscillation when you opened the mouth instead of having random letters like that.
😊There is a function atan2 to reduce the amount of calculation she did here !
