you got some things wrong and missed some very obvious things He couldnt have won with 9 gates as its clsoed only, it would have onlly been an open full flush, which is a mangan going above what i just said, he called ron on the wrong tile, his wait was the 5m, but he called the 1m, nobody pointed that out because dudley was probably cheating, there are 5 1m on the board, 3 in kuramoto's meld and 2 in dudley's pond, i dont even think he was in furriten, as he did not discard the 5m at all, only the 2,3, and 9m his 5m tanki was not furiten, one of them had to have cheated and it was most likely dudley as he falsely claimed furiten
Awesome video. Never knew the symbolism the mahjong game had with Japan and the US and the Yakumo. I always saw it as tense negotiations between the countries, where both parties were looking for any reason to call off the game and just light each other up like they wanted to all along.
Thank you so much for making this! I love Killer7, and have always wondered about this scene. I do not know how to play Mahjong, and always figured that every move they made during their game had some other underlying meaning to them. This game's story (told through its dialogue and cutscenes) always has more going on under the surface, and this was yet another example of that. It would be nice to hear what takes _other_ Mahjong players have of this scene as well! Lots of room for discussion.😄

i know nothing about the majong, but to hear there's many symbolisms in Killer7 is so good.

Mahjong souls is free and has a tutorial in it, if you are interested in mahjong as well I'd recommend it for a first timer.
