🚗 Our adventure began in the scenic town of Nuwakot, and our destination was the enchanting city of Pokhara. However, our journey hit a snag when a landslide caused a major traffic jam on the way to Mugling. 🚧⛰️ While Skvader cleared the debris, we were stuck waiting for about an hour. Despite the delay, our spirits were lifted as we finally made our way to the Fishtail Restaurant in Mugling, located between the picturesque Mitteri Pul bridges. 🍛🌉 The Thakali meal was a treat, though the service was quite slow. We also enjoyed Mohi, a local drink made from curd, which added a delightful local touch to our meal.
The drive from Mugling to Pokhara was nothing short of breathtaking. 🛤️🌄 Known as the "City of Lakes" and celebrated for its stunning Himalayan views, Pokhara greeted us with its unparalleled beauty. Even with some ongoing road maintenance, the journey was filled with awe-inspiring vistas that made every moment memorable. The lush landscapes, winding roads, and distant mountain peaks created a visual feast that made the trip truly remarkable. 🏞️🗻
Arriving at the luxurious Mount Kailash Resort in Lakeside Pokhara was the perfect end to our long day. 🏨🍹 We were warmly welcomed with refreshing fresh juice, a perfect treat after our extended drive. The resort, known for its elegance and exclusivity, features a beautiful garden and a serene swimming pool. 🌺🏊‍♂️ It provided us with a tranquil retreat and set the stage for exploring more of Pokhara's natural wonders. Every detail, from the luxury of the resort to the stunning views of the lake, added to the charm of our unforgettable journey. 🌟🌊
