It's recorded directly on the computer with Ableton Live as a software. That's why the clarity is great and I'm listening to the sounds through headphones. :)

And you need - with keys and with guitar - an USB audio interface to reduce the latency/delay to monitor your playing. And for the guitar you especially need it to connect the lead with your pc and to catch the output. Moin, ich versuche es mal schriftlich zu erklären. Zuerst gehst du mit dem MK2 in den Ableton Live Loop Modus. Dazu drückst du Shift und das 8. Drum Pad gleichzeitig bis dieses rot aufleuchtet. Nun aktivierst du bei einem Track deiner Wahl die Aufnahmebereitschaft (das Symbol unter den Lautstärkereglern mit so einer Uhr). Hast du beispielsweise Track 1 für die Aufnahme aktiviert, kannst du einmal auf das erste Pad drücken und die Aufnahme für Track 1 sollte starten (rotes Licht). Sobald du nochmal auf das gleiche Pad drückst, wird die Aufnahme beendet und ein Loop ist markiert. Die Farbe wechselt dann zu grün.

I use a laptop in combination with a midi keyboard which sends signals to a computer software via USB. The equipment used is listed in the video description. The only pedal I use is a sustain pedal to let the notes ring out but I think I didn't use it for this video. :)

A piano usually has 88 keys but this one has around 20. So if you want access to higher or lower sectors tonewise you can press octave to reach them. :)

Are you referring to sounds? Then yes. You can use other plugins in combination with the minilab. Are you referring to hardware keys? Then kind of yes. You can use the octave up and down buttons to reach higher or lower positions of a real piano with usually 88 keys.
If I remember correctly I assigned a knob of my keyboard to trigger a button in Ableton in the upper transport section which looks like a hollow hole. You can also activate it manually with your computer mouse in Ableton. Hope it helps! :)

@@PhilGerb93 I'm not completely new to keys but it's my first midi keyboard in a small format like this one and I tried to play it in a way my hand doesn't hide any key I'm pressing haha. But yeah, my technique isn't the best anyway. Mainly I'm a drummer. :D
