Session #2 :Read and Write Phoenician: The Alphabet letters H to T

In the framework of our “Lebanization” initiative, an anthropological research project aimed at studying the ancient Phoenician civilization spanning Lebanon and its surroundings, we are pleased to announce our third webinar focusing on the Phoenician language and alphabet with Father George Kamel, President of the Lebanon Ares association and an expert in ancient Semitic languages and Phoenician history. After a an exhaustive introduction to the Phoenician language and culture on October 26, 2020, and a first successful webinar which covered the letters A,B,G,D,H,Y,Z, on November 9, 2020, our third seminar will explore the remaining 15 letters of the Phoenician alphabet.
Join us as we navigate the wonderful realm of Cadmus who brought the alphabet from our shores to the rest of the world and learn about the unexplored Phoenician civilization which allowed us all to write and communicate! It will be fun, informative and interactive… and free of charge!
