Maroon 5 - Payphone - เพลง
This sounds like something you'll hear at a prom in the 80s.
This is true. ❤
Mag tagalog kana nahiya kapa eh HAHAHA
@@TMLWKY Idk what you're sayin' bruh. I'm actually from L.A
(Lower Antipolo) HAHAHAHAHA 😅😁
@@erj3063 haha

This is actually more thematically consistent that the original, because you wouldn't have a cellphone in 1989.
Nor a payphone in 2010s
It’s a mobile not a cellphone ffs
Omg?! Ikr?! I mean, who uses payphone in 2014? Right? It was released that time...😂😂😂
No cellphone, a brick phone yes
I was gonna like but i see Dead Pool said this 5 days before you. Gotta support the OG. lol
I never lived in 80s but I feel like I belong there
Most people do Cuz That was the peak for modern music
I was born in 1991 but I always act like I'm an 80s guy
I believe I belong there too.
Ditto
This is more fitting. Because I can imagine there are more payphone in 80s.
There most certainly were! Hardly anyone had cellphones then, and the ones that did were mostly car phones.
you can’t change my mind, 80s was one of the best eras to live
I believe that, and I wasn't even born until the 90's 😅😆
The 80's looks/sounds awesome in many ways!
(But I also liked the 90's, I think the 80's and 90's have amazing music etc.)
Every year I realise that more
80s music was experimental , freestyle and funto listen. Electronic music was new and fresh , so they created multiple masterpieces .
Also at that time BANDS existed and independent individuals created music . These days music companies own singers , music composers . All the music almost looks the same .
Wish I was there honestly
Imagine, no internet, metal slides in direct sunlight, and $1.49 gasoline.
Just the fact that the song is called payphone proves to me that it should’ve been released in the 80s.
Or the 1990’s. Or really, any decade in the 20th century.
This is it guys. This is how memories which never even existed are planted in our heads.❤
Creating a Mandela effect
Shit, they Ghost in the Shelled me.
I remember listening to this in the radio during the 80's. Such a good time.

The fade to silence at the end is chef's kiss
I remember that Adam Levine also took part in "We are the World" USA For Africa project sitting next to Lionel Richie.
and Band Aid
But how about Wiz Khalifa
😂😂😂
he was dating freddie mercury
i think i read the headline in rolling stones in the 80s, this band along with a-ha and duran duran would start world tour together...
I can hear an interruption now- “Attention, K-Mart shoppers…”
OMG spot on!!
man ALL of these remixes are better than the originals 😭
Nope your taste is old that's why you like it...
Maroon 5 is maroon 5 big credits to Creator
@@BoopBoopBoopMe0wnope I like modern music but i like this version over the original one
@@KungMikamiabsolutely correct 💯😁
Yeah ur right i used to liked the original now ilovevthis this version
Nope, it's not
This gives me some kind of feeling that's hard to explain, sadness, happiness, and excitement combined
That's called nostalgia bro
Some good words are anemoia and hiraeth, saudade, kenopsia
Same here.
It's called as reminiscing in nostalgia.
80s and 90s are the best decades of everything. i was born on 1989, 90s are the best years as human being.
The 2000s were undeniably the best decade for television and technology. So no, not everything 😂
@@Pmccaff2009the 2000s was a great time to live in
same here, i always consider myself lucky, we got a bit of a 80s taste in the early 90s.. better than nothing
90s was the best
@@MegaFinalRound The 2000’s also had 9/11, the Iraq War, and a major recession. So no, they weren’t the best.
I call you on the telephone, but you're never home.
So?
@@BocahTuaNakal1 I gotta get a message to you. I wanna tell you that I'm going through oh oh oh
This song was already more than a decade so it was already nostalgic, then it was made more nostalgic lol
Minus the vocals sounding like they're down the hall, this is solid.
That was totally a thing a the time tho
Phil Collins used it a lot
Sounds legit, Payphones existed in the 80's, cellphone did not. So a song about spending all the change on the payphone sounds really like a real legit thing that wouldve happened to a lot of people back then.
Cellphones existed, but only rich yuppies had them, and even then they only used them in their cars.
Electronics piano backing with retro beat damn
This actually sounds SO nice, so much better than the original 😭😭😭
The reverb on those drums is so rich 😭😭
For some reason, this remix feels so relaxing.
Todays generation is blessed to hear different versions of modern songs converted from different times.
this is the song my dad danced with my mom during their high school prom in 1990
Fake
I wish I was born in the 70s to experience Maroon 5 in the 80s. Sadly I was born in 1998.
I hope they do make a comeback. They had some really great hits, such as Sugar and She Will Be Loved.
Man this is better than the main version 🤧❤
Right?! This version is the best!
You can hear this type of beat in The 1975 these days.
Robbers is my favorite song of all time
Gang gang gang💗💗
Sounds how I’d imagine Maroon 5 could’ve eventually sounded vs. what Maroon 5 ultimately became.
This is amazing. I feel the 80s oozing from this. I can see an establishing scene from a movie with this playing in the background as the camera settles on the quad of a high school.
Where a student is talking on the payphone!
This song was playing at my high school's prom night in 1989 where I met my wife of 31 years. I'm 17 now with 4 kids and have never been happier.
Fake
This sounds like something that would be on my dads playlist
80s synth are best
I swear Maroon 5 makes so many hit songs but you never know it's by them
Man, reminds me of Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now"
Reminds me of REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin
Best band ever, is it only me or they seem to have inspired a new band called maroon something something?
I think it called the moron 5
This is nice .. 😅😂
something like a power ballad.
Need the actual maroon 5 to react to this😮😮😮
perfect EXCEPT should've done the fourth chord sustained bruh it adds SO much
This would be right at home in T Swift's "1989"
Algorithn brought me here 😮😢
80s and 90s were the best 🕺
This beat reminds me of dance hall days just changed up or slowed down 😂😂
vocals are in the background, got the volume a little lower than usual. but nice job buddy pretty cool
IMO, it makes the music more raw and natural which many songs in the 80s sounds like that. Also, it's like an aesthetic as well in my opinion
that is the main point of the remix
Damn I miss the 80s!
I wish I was born at 80s bro
This sounds heavenly, Cant get over. Transfers you from earth.
I remember listening to this in '88, I was about to pick up the newspapers in our front porch but I suddenly heard this on the radio....Ah, the memories...
I'm at a payphone, trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?
Yeah, I, I know it's hard to remember
The people we used to be
It's even harder to picture
That you're not here next to me
You say it's too late to make it
But is it too late to try?
And in our time that you wasted
All of our bridges burned down
I've wasted my nights
You turned out the lights
Now, I'm paralyzed
Still stuck in that time
When we called it love
But even the sun sets in paradise
I'm at a payphone, trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?
If "Happy Ever After" did exist
I would still be holding you like this
All those fairy tales are full of shit
One more fucking love song, I'll be sick (oh)
You turned your back on tomorrow
'Cause you forgot yesterday
I gave you my love to borrow
But you just gave it away
You can't expect me to be fine
I don't expect you to care
I know I've said it before
But all of our bridges burned down
I've wasted my nights
You turned out the lights
Now, I'm paralyzed
Still stuck in that time
When we called it love
But even the sun sets in paradise
I'm at a payphone, trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you (oh, oh)
Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two? (Yeah)
If "Happy Ever After" did exist
I would still be holding you like this
And all those fairy tales are full of shit
One more fucking love song, I'll be sick (uh)
Now, I'm at a payphone
Man, fuck that shit
I'll be out spending all this money while you sitting 'round
Wondering why it wasn't you who came up from nothing
Made it from the bottom, now, when you see me, I'm stunning
And all of my cars start with a push of a button
Telling me had chances I blew up or whatever you call it
Switch the number to my phone, so you never could call it
Don't need my name on my show, you can tell that I'm balling
Swish, what a shame could have got picked
Had a really good game, but you missed your last shot
So you talk about who you see at the top
Or what you could've saw, but sad to say, it's over for
Phantom pulled up, valet open doors
Wished I'd go away, got what you was looking for
Now, it's me who they want, so you can go
And take that little piece of shit with you
I'm at a payphone, trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you (woo)
Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two? (Yeah, yeah)
If "Happy Ever After" did exist (oh, yeah)
I would still be holding you like this
All these fairy tales are full of shit
Yeah, one more fucking love song, I'll be sick (yeah)
Now, I'm at a payphone
sir we need this on spotify
damn, why this version so sweet. hope this available on spotify. loved it
This definitely reminds me the Mall in the 80’s. Grab some lunch at the food court and then later check out some of the kiosk and check out footlocker… good times
while wearing a parachute pants and mullet
Wow, I've aged that much? Kidding aside, the song brings back the good old days, and the heartache as well.
Thanks man.
I love this cover, and I also love how you photoshopped 1980’s big hair on the members of Maroon 5!
Hearing then Perform Highway to Hell at my University years ago, I could picture them getting a kick out this.
Orang Indonesia???
Kirain orang bule yang buat hehehe
Bagus banget....lanjutkan kak buat lagu2 yang lainnya 😁👍
Iyaa baru ngeh trnyta org indo
wiz khalifas part is 🔥 on this remix
This Synthwave's asset is so celestial
I hear it with way too much reverb, might be my old headphones lol, but still i love the concept, sounds good!
this song deserve in the 80s as only payphone are available that time. im not 80s but im glad that i am 90s to feel a tiny fraction of the 80s.
Lah ternyata kreatornya orang indonesia. Tapi komen luar semua.
Bangga padamu bang. Lanjutkan🔥
Look at carefully the middle one you'll know who is 😂😂
Adam Levine itself
Why am I imagining my uncle driving his tap down along the boulevard? 🤣
Miss that dude with his ripped jeans and cut sleeved shirt.
This version fits well with the title. Fr.💖 kudos!👏🏻😊
I remember this song played in the mall when I and my then girlfriend (now wife) Jennifer had a date back in 1985. Now 39 years later we're still together with 3 beautiful children and 6 grandchildren.
i can picture out my beautiful 18 year-old mom and dad dancing in their prom and talking about making me later.
I really like this remix despite hating the 80s. It sounds so melancholic, lol
if only echo could make sounds like 80's, i would be the greatest singer of all time as I am a bathroom singer..
Nostalgic!
got goosebumpssss
itssss soooo goodd
removes all of my stress
that classic 80s snare
Mantap lagunya dibuat style 80an
oh damn it feels even more nostalgic, good work buddy !!
Cool 80’s AOR sound. Sounds sort of like bands such as Glass Tiger, Alias, Sheriff, Bad English, Bad Company (their 80’s stuff), Michael Bolton (his early stuff), etc…
this is top tier
Holy shit, so frickin' beautiful god damn! 🥰
my new studying soundtrack
Starship vibe
this got an insane vibe. love it!
I'm seeing myself surrounded by crazy crowd and yellow cabs and I am looking for a payphone. You know that kind of MV? 😊
Man… Wiz Khalifa sure was ahead of his time
Can’t believe the hate he got from his style of rap back then
This makes me nostalgic for the ‘80s knowing damn well I wasn’t born during the ‘80s
I come from 2024! 70s was the best!!!!
The rap part should have been a guitar solo
Pretty accurate kinda fit
80s was the best
I remember listening to this song with my first girlfriend. R.i.P Adam Levine 😢❤ 1960-2006(overdose)
I mean, you hooked me with the title and delivered as much as Adam Levine could let you
I am 1979 l belonge the 80"s yers❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
great music but I wish the vocals were mixed in more in the foreground and less in the background. But the acoustics of this really does sound like your at prom just sitting in the sidelines watching everyone else enjoy themselves.
Not gonna lie, but this version sounds so enjoyable for some reason.
Damn! This is so beautiful! 🥺✨
seems like yesterday, this me and my tweetums fave track back in 1990
Una versión de los 70 sería otra onda 😎
I remembered my grandma listening to this song in late 80's..I was 6 years at that time...she cried everytime our old radio play this song coz my grandfather left her with his new girl back then
This Gave Me Goosebumps😊 Soo Nostalgic ❤❤
I never liked this song but this is the greatest since the sliced loaf
Thank you, this sounds better than the original
Genius creation 😍
ha ha exactly...exactly.... throwing me to the days when i was in my prime ha ha
80's ❤❤❤❤ sounds phenomenal
Nice idea, but I doubt it would have been like that.
In a 1989 song it would never have been the final rap part, but they would have put a Europe-style guitar solo along half the song.
There are many 80s pop songs with guitar solos, for example "I just died in your arms tonight" by Cutting Crew, "Touch me" by Samantha Fox, "Shout" by Tears For Fears, "Heaven" by Bryan Adams and the list can goes on.
