There are online resources for things that we may feel unqualified to teach. Abundant amounts of resources actually. On your other point, I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "prices for jobtrainings". As for college, University isn't for everyone. If they choose a job that requires university such as a doctor, they will obviously have to attend. Yes, there are many jobs that require special training. Children schooled at home with accredited curriculums can still get into colleges. Is that what you are curious about?
