- Thus far, probably one of my favourite songs from Project Diva X. I actually like it even more now, having seen the animated PV for it. Seriously, how pretty is it? I love it.
This is actually the first time I've tried mixing with Adobe Audition instead of Reaper, and I think it came out really well. It has so much more clarity than my latest uploads, which all sound kinda like I recorded them through a pancake!
Unfortunately no amount of mixing is going to make me better at hitting those high notes. Yeesh.
It's also nice doing a story song again. Especially with a not tragic ending. XD

Dave Survivor I think that the goddess of fate actually cursed her to always have negative thoughts about herself, and the more she hated herself, the uglier she looked, reflecting on how she saw herself.
I quote from Roald Dahl:
"A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. you can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you always have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely."
when the boy accepted her, even after knowing what she looked like, she finally felt good about herself. which broke the spell of unhappiness which was brought apon her.

Cream Kit I agree with you. The albino style is perhaps my favorite character form. I tend to use it for my own characters when I write so it became sort of an obsession.

I think it was more like he wanted to pick a white lily like the girl not white as in her physical appearance, but because white represents innocence.
Rial Astral I know someone who is blind and they said that different colors have a different feeling, like how five dollar bills feel different from 10 dollar bills, or maybe no other colors of lilys grow there
It is true that he couldn't have known that it was actually white, but it doesn't matter. He didn't pick it because it matches her color necessarily.
I'd interpret the original text more saying it "takes after her". A white Lily symbolizes devotion, as well as (which he says) purity. I don't think he meant it takes after her in a literal sense (even though it does), but more that it does in virtue. And the reason they both happen to be the same color is not just her albinism, but also because this seemingly takes place on a stage. She wears white because it represents her personality, not her body.
Just my take on it though, take it with a grain of (white) salt.

I think he just guessed it was. When the goddess of fate cast a spell on him so he can see, he realized that he picked the wrong one. So he ran back to the girl to comfort her. ( This is my opinion )
I know this is like 2 months ago but i just wanna say what i think. XD What message I got was he gave her the white lily thinking it was white but it was actually black, she then states in the other one with subtitles "I would be better off dead right?" the boy then notices that it's the wrong flower and runs to hug her, he then some what says that he will never leave her or something close to that. That's just what I got from the lily part. (Maybe he knew that white lilys grew in that spot?)

This is really well done, love the translation job into song lyrics in English. Only thing I don't like is that the girl still looks really cute during the middle of the song when she's supposed to be hideous.
07m Well, I'm guessing that we're the other gods/goddesses and we actually see who she is on the inside, OR, this story is told by the girl's point of view, which it is, so she doesn't look hideous.

Wew, this is an old comment, but I'm going to reply anyway. In the original lyrics, he doesn't know her hair is white, but he does state that it's a white lily. There are a few reasons this could be; first, he may have not been born blind and have seen a white lily before, second he may have been given a white lily before and could tell what the flower was due to the texture of the flower.
