Berliner and more .. you're perfectly prepared 👍 ...but you know your final challenge: Cologne language However: enjoy ! I guess it's all to get through the long, dark and cold winter (started at 11/11 = 11th Nov) and has to end before fasting time.
Yea, that makes since about having something to get through the winter time, I will view it from that perspective from here on out. As far as learning the Cologne language, that will je a life long journey 🤣
I didn't know that. Learn something new every day, right ? ;) In my area, Berliners with an alcoholic filling is totally unbeknown to me. But - exclusively - in the Carneval/Fasching/Fasnet time you may get a Berliner filled with mustard instead of jelly. But, obviously, this may vary across regions in Germany ;)
@@JustinGermany the mustard filling is meant as a prank during carneval season or Sylvester parties. Some of the Berliners randomly will be filled with mustard and mixed with the rest of the regular ones. Nobody would buy those voluntarily. A Mett filled Berliner on the other hand ... ;)
i thought it had to be a prank, but man some people do have some weird tastes, so i didn't want to be wrong. of course its like that everywhere. I still have German people shocked when I eat Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches

Filled with mustard? That's interesting. I did hear on WDR about one community filling a berliner with Mett. I would have to try that one day.
