Ruth Vork I don’t see much of a difference here compared to Emirates, i had a great trip with Emirates in Business.
Amazing fantastic... Qatar is a second luxury after Singapore airlines ... the lounge is great one of the best I think in hamad Doha .... the business class looked like a dream , such a nice video n hospitality ... the dining , the seat , the cabin , the entire layout with bar lounge n sofa area for socialising , to the amenity kit , everything is brilliant for Qatar ... hope to see Qatar soon .... great great video keep it up
Really like the seat design, the placement of plug and other amenities where you do not have to go on a scavenger hunt is always a plus

Could not agree more! The Qatar experience is second to none. I flew to Europe 10 times in two years with Qatar, Etihad & Emerites. The Qatar BC is easily the best, followed by Etihad.
Whomever designed the Qatar BC booth deserves a medal. The BC lounge at Doaha is simply stunning, again the best I ever exerienced. It is very hard to find fault with with Qatar. No wonder they were awarded airline of the year in 2018.

Such a quiet plane, massive wings and love the 3 flaps at the end of the wing how they work almost independently of each other. 6 hours is just too short a flight😊
True, when you fly with Qatar you need at least 10 hours in the sky to enjoy it!
That wing on the 380 is a thing of beauty..I never get tired of watching it working and always try to get a seat behind the wing. Had one 380 flight going into Heathrow on a very windy rainy approach and the flex in the wing and all the ailerons were working like mad independently, helps to reduce load on the wing, as well as smooth out turbulence. Masterpiece of design.

Fantastic wing vision ...loved it !! Great to see an excellent Australian wine on the menu!! The afternoon tea looked pretty good ! A great review of an airline which wins awards time after time and no wonder !!! Well done again and I always enjoy your trip your trip reports !!!
Basically the A380's wings are so massive that you get a good view of them from anywhere on the plane pretty much.
That afternoon tea, I have it every time I fly with them and it's always good - always with a glass of champagne :)

@@D98Flyer just be careful you don't get stuck in it having to many cocktails, they have a great list of drinks at the bar and will prepare a range of cocktails as you want them.
I got to experience the business class of Qatar as well as I got upgraded to business class for the doh-hel flight! :) Didn't complain even though it was 5 hours late :D if it was a flight departing from Europe or a European airline, I would've got 600€ compensation for that lol

Just returned from Bangkok on Qatar QSuites and I almost started crying when we me made it back to Philly . I’ve never been treated so nice on a flight in my life! I just can’t believe there can be a better business class airline, Qatar is the best.
I totally agree with you. Travelling in the QSuites with Qatar is the best business class you can get out there. I did a review of the QSuites and I said on that video that it approaches first class that product.
Tracy Walker were you able to book a qsuite from Doha to philly? I can’t find any flights this route with the qsuite?! Any guidance you can offer?
Ruby Khan I booked a flight from Philly to Bangkok which included a three hour layover In Doha going and a seven hour layover in Doha on the return flight to Philly. Hope this helps.

This looks amazing! I've been using only Singapore Airlines for the past 10 years or so to fly to Heathrow from Penang via Changi. However, I've booked myself on a Qatar Airways flight to Heathrow next month! I'll be flying Economy, but I've been watching many QR reviews in a mix of classes and they all seem great. Can't wait. =)

At 8:47, that’s a Tokaj Wine on the left side of the menu 😯 Proud, that such a classy airline takes the Tokaji within their wine card from my homeland! And the 5 puttonyos is a very nice and joyful wine, tastes like honey with a hint of a white wine!
Where is this wine from?
My Trips “Tokaj Borvidék” as we call it in Hungarian, is on the north-north east side of Hungary near the Slovakian border. The wine is good, because the loose, sandy soil is very good for the vineyards, plus as I heard from a sommelier, the sun shines the grapes at a special angle at that part of the country, that it can be manufactured like this, plus of course the “making of Tokaji” is very traditional as well :) Fine video by the way!

That lounge was stunning! Maybe not the best in the world but these clips alone made me think it was. One question, that cabin layout made it seem quite uncomfortable to look out from the window... was that the case?
I agree about the lounge.
With regards to the cabin, it wasn’t uncomfortable to look out but the A380 on the upper deck is curved in a way that sort of restricts the view to a degree. The cabin was overall very nice, probably the nicest I’ve seen on an A380

Just came back from Bangkok. BKK-Doha on an A-350 900, with the same configuration as the A-380. Doha-Amsterdam on a 777 in the Q suite. Realy amazing.

I think their menu is sort of standard for some time so you’re likely to get similar things if you fly often. Glad you enjoyed your flights
One of weak point of Qatar Airways is how they almost never change the breakfast menu. Your menu looks almost similar with what I got back in 2017 and 2018.

Hello, I don't speak German to be honest although I have lived in Germany for a few months in the past! My flight with Qatar was on 20/10 so I wasn't on the plane you saw :)
Love Qatar Airways! Their Qsuites are amazing just wish they would turn that annoying tune off that plays on a 5 second loop during boarding and landing! P.s fly east from Oslo if you can, business class return about 1k cheaper than it is from uk! Cheap £90 return flight with Norwegian to Oslo well worth it!
I have just finished watching the Emirates business A380 trip from Dubai to London that was so disgusting i felt sick, i wrote a piece on you vlog for advice hope you get to read it, and now im as you see watching this Qatar one. have you ever seen anyone with a physical disability board an Emirates or Qatar flight in the business section and how they were treated. ??

Comparing this flight with the miserable two-step Bangkok-London one on Emirates, this was vastly superior. It was everything you could hope for in business class.

That's true. I always say that the airport and lounge are a very important part of every flight and I try to allow enough time to enjoy both!

Flown on them three times, the last time by business class. They are the best airline ever but as a result of the Ukrainian jet that was shot down by Iran last month and the fact that it is the only airline that has no alternative but to fly through Iran, I will give it a miss.

i got a upgrade for 150 from bkk to doha on one of these then on a 777 to manchester.love the a380 lots of room in all classes on it.sadly they will be getting rid of them i na few years time.personally i think its bad idea one the best planes ever made.airlines need these for the long haul routes as they give u the room u need.ok they have 4 engines but if they did the upgrade the savings would soon pay for it all plus if the reduced the business class and put more encomny seats in they fill them no problem every time

I have flown both Emirates and Qatar Airways business class. Agreed Emirates is a joke compared to Qatar Airways.

I flew emirates business class in 2015, i enjoyed every minute of my trip, the crew were super.
That's quite weird that they don't put their Qsuite product on the Frankfurt line.
They don't have many at the moment, new aircraft are being fitted with the QSuites. Also Frankfurt usually is a very popular route and they need the A380 to take the extra passengers
@@MyTrips_Aviation Precisely they put the Qsuite on their most popular routes especially a route like Frankfurt which is used by businessmen. That's why it seemed weird. But they do offer the Qsuite on that route up to 4 flights per day which is quite a lot.
As a frequent Emirates flyer in business and first I think your judgement harsh sure the A 380s are getting a bit aged and could be better BUT it’s better than a bloody B777 and some herring bone outfits on other airlines

No, I don't think they give pyjamas on any route in business class. I might be wrong though

I think many, many people who do like a drink and/or dislike flying would appreciate the social aspects of there being a bar.
