He became a different man after that. He was willing to spend centuries learning these topics to avoid being alone for eternity and having to leave his friends. He knew after the loom failed to hold all the branches after enlarging the loom, that it was the only way forward. It goes to show that He Who Remains, who also went through this very similar situation, chose Loki for the job.

I kind of wanted to see how he learnt all that...like: "Ok guys, I know we don't have much time, but I need you guys to stop what your doing and teach me mechanics until the looms overloads and breaks down", or if sometimes he just time skipped to take a break, still while everyone else is trying to save all timelines

1:19 the fact that Loki already knew what Mobius was going to say shows that he repeated the centuries he spent learning the mechanics of the Temporal Loom many times.
His patience is literally unbelievable. Like I would have given up after O.B said Centuries.
I lost it when it immediately cut to "centuries later" 😆😂🤣
Am I the only one who thought that there had to be a moment where Loki nearly discovered Kang's twist with the Loom but was too focused to give it that final thought it needed to solidify?
Stark and Banner would've LOVED this Loki.
0:30 Casey’s dialogue here is unintentionally hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Why?!
I think he may be referring to how they questioned Loki’s sudden knowledge and cautiously suggested OB do it instead but it’s not hilarious anyways. At the most a bit funny but hilarious would be an overreaction maybe
@@BRB-ck3jr you must be fun at parties
@@BRB-ck3jr that’s just a metaphor that you take everything way too seriously. Just chill. Touch some grass. And maybe you might meet someone while you are at it.
1:18 this part of him was unexpected 😂 he acted kind of goofy
Pure gold moment
When you think about it, he has, essentially, spent centuries with these people as he was learning the mechanics. It's no suprise that he's more goofy and friendly around them.
This is where earned his god-hood, spending centuries learning about temporal physics and earning his power.
I don't think there has ever been such a perfect ending to exist, than this series. It was a masterclass in how to end something.
Felina
@dentangaji6161 eh, I wouldn't say breaking Bad had the best ending, that's why it did a sequel one shot with Jessie
@@dentangaji6161
Yeah, that or Saul Gone
But, if anything I think Glorious Purpose is still fantastic, and one of the best ways to end a show
It's crazy how Loki went from super villain to ultimate hero & savior of reality within the span of this show.
This is a actually the time what made loki accept the fate that he have to di what he had to do, nothing made more sense to loki then this that he needed his friends more then anything, every scenario he went through, all of his friends accepted what loki wanted to do even silvie, they were the only ones who believed in loki and helped him do what even wanted to do even without them realising that loki can travel through time and space
Just watched LOKI after finding time. Did anyone else realize that the joke about loki coming for O.B.'s job came true? We were introduce to O.B. as someone isolated from the rest of the team for centuries if not millennia, doing work just hoping he is helping the rest of the team. At the end, we see O.B. as physically part of a team, but Loki is now holding the multiverse together, isolated.
I love that after all the comparisons they basically turned Loki into doctor who
Doctor Who Remains, literally
I'm kind of just imagining Loki, like, timslipping into various college lectures. "Him? Oh, yeah, apparently we're being audited by a god. Yes, the tenure board had better be taking that into consideration."
Just imagine him giving Tony pointers on how to upgrade his armour.
Loki spent centuries learning everything O.B. and Victor knew, and likely centuries and centuries more just repeating the time prior to the loom exploding working out every possible mistake to try and save the TVA. Like Groundhog Day, he spent so much time repeating events he started to learn what everyone would say depending on the situation. He stops being Loki of Asgard and becomes someone entirely different, to the point he cares about the people at the TVA and is terrified of being alone.
Reminder that he's already many centuries old himself. A course like this is the equivalent of your college years to a god
"The rings. The rings are too small. We're going to make them bigger."
I don't know why but the way he says that is hilarious. Like a madman describing perpetual motion, except in this case he actually got really close
i love the way ouroboros and victor talk about how long it takes to learn all the physics, ouroboros seems to be only referring to the physics and engineering relating to the project, victor seems to tell him the actual answer loki's looking for and i think thats why he turned to him.
Even if he was not got, after learning physics for centuries would automatically make him a god.
After the last episode thor's quote of loki understanding what it means to have a throne better than anybody and everybody hits so much harder. The original loki he was talking to of course didn't but at the same time that one and the tva one are almost identical. Plus since the tva is out of the time stream loki both knew and didn't know that burden better than anybody. Just so deep and awesome
People here a forgetting that for Asgardians, Centuries pass by more like decades and they perceive time differently than humans so for Loki, 100+ years was essentially only like 10+ years.
1:02 I had to put captions on to know what he was saying was actually making sense or not 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
It took loki centuries but OB and Kang learned it on their own and somehow became friends creating some sort of feedback loop
My thought: HE'S GONE FULL DOCTOR WHO MODE
Man casually groundhog dayed in a damn spongebob wipe. I'm both amused and pissed that not getting to see that!
I'm getting flashbacks of that temporal loop in Stargate SG-1 where everybody learned to juggle.
In my head cannon, it is him learning physics that prepared him to ascend to the throne of time. He had to complement his sorcery and trickery with a genuine understanding of reality.
I kind of wanted to see how he learnt all that...like:
"Ok guys, I know we don't have much time, but I need you guys to stop what your doing and teach me mechanics until the looms overloads and breaks down", or if sometimes he just time skipped to take a break, still while everyone else is trying to save all timelines
I like that this serves as a joke but also acts as some explanation of why he becomes so powerful later on.
Loki: "I'm a fast learner..."
Also Loki: Takes him centuries to get an engineering and physics degree lol.
I mean he needs to know everything ob knows which is a little bit more than an engineering degree
As a physics major graduating this May after 7 years of perseverance and caffeine infused allnighters...yah, sounds about right. I mean, my major was a BACHELORS. A mere dip of the toes in the proverbial water. People who make physics their career, geez. And just imagine what Loki would have to learn in those centuries to operate a machine that sits as part of the very foundation of that universe's time.
I was actually quite surprised how good Loki season 2 was, and I was honestly not expecting much.
the centuries remark makes sense, O.B is at least 400 yrs old and learning all the things someone whose lived for 400 yrs is going to take a long time.
As a mechanical engineer, yeah. It did feel like centuries.
Banner: "where you at these days?"
Loki: "Mechanics, Physics and Engineering!"
Then destroy Loom and Became Gos Loki who control entire multiverse😂😊
Then destroy Loom and Became Gos Loki who control entire multiverse😂😊
Centuries don't mean anything to a god😂
Indeed. Asgardians and Frost Giants live up to around 5,000 years, as confirmed by Loki in The Dark World film, so a few centuries to him is probably like just a few years to us. Plus, he's a god, so his mental fortitude is extremely high, way more than regular humans'.
What make it feels like torture because he repeating a same exact days for centuries ...
@@ManusiaKagakRusuh wede ada indonesian cooyyyy,,,,
@@primalvelocity3811This was his college time
MIND BLOWING commitment, like, really. Imagine having a plan that takes centuries to conclude??? Most people cant even make their new years resolution survive a month. The series really missed by not showing his struggle throught the centuries, it would also be important to show his attachement to the tva, once again, he spent CENTURIES living there.
I kinda love how they said "centuries". It really goes against the anime trope, where the MC trains for a week and instantly gets stronger.
The new "Dormamu, I've come to bargain"
loki straight up made odin proud like even if he failed he went through so much time to try and fix this
He basically just became Dr. Who at that point. Coat, mannerism, everything.
The difference between loki at the start and now is staggering and well earned. What an incredible journey 👏
loki i’m not question your surprisingly advanced physics skills
I don’t think my mind and mental health would have lasted.
It never occurred to me until this moment, but Tom Hiddleston would probably make a pretty good Doctor. That thoughts going to live in the back of my brain for a while
He sounds like the Doctor in this clip 🤣
Loki is a Frost Giant who can live thousands of years. So him spending a few centuries learning physics would be like a human getting a PhD. In fact, you would think that the Asgradians already teaches their kids a lot of science in their equivalent of high school and college. You can't have a super advanced society without an educated populous.
All of those decades, repeating and learning in a constant loop....
Lol I guess Dr.Strange has a worthy opponent now
Would've been hilarious if this scene had one of those SpongeBob time-lapse narrations. 😂
I would love to see a scenne in avengers secret wars where bunch of characters try to figure how they went to battle world are and it's Loki who gives scientific expalanations how it's possible and all characters including eg. Bruce Banner and Thor are stunned by Loki's knowledge.
Lol that would be hilarious!
Bruce: since when you got a PhD in physics and engineering?
Loki: oh well, centuries of studying hehe >:D

Folks not gonna lie, as soon as this screen appeared my heart broke.
why?
why
@@1sefferro Because he actually spent those centuries trying to learn. Of course we're gonna see the comedic touch when we see "some time afer", "5 minutes after", "a week after", but in this case he spent the last hours before everything collapses ... in centuries.
He had to actually learn from scratch in order to try and save everyone. So when it appears "centuries later", he did spent those years studying everyday while knowing that everything is ending.
He was determined to save his friends. Friends he eventually had to leave for their own good.
Loki spent his life looking for his glorious purpose(in all the wrong places), now that it's here and he alone can make a difference loki is highly motivated
