Михаил, конечно, как всегда, великолепен! Но что за позорный обучаемый?! В малюсеньком соло Коллина даже мотивчик не мог выучить для показа на мастер классе! Абсолютно не понимает , о чём поётся в этом маленьком соло "о плаще"... И как он вообще себе позволяет стоять во время пения! - Весь на расслабоне, стоя на одной ноге, опершись вразвалочку на рояль, руки в карманах!... В своё время мой покойный профессор за такое просто выгнал бы с урока взашей!
He’s clearly a young bass or young bass-baritone. If we trained young singers only by their vocal color when we’d have a lot of bass and bass-baritones with a lot of useless tenor and baritone rep behind their belts. I assuming this guy is under 25, which is when the second big vocal change happens. His voice will get a lot darker with age.
@@boundary2580, he is definitely a baritone. Mikhail Svetlov isn't a particularly low, strong bass, and he is still leaps and bounds deeper and more powerful than this guy.
@@johndeeregreen4592 Michail Svetlov is also well past his vocal prime which was 10-15 years ago. He's somewhere between 50-60 years old and I doubt his student is much past his undergrad. Believe it or not, many of the greatest opera singers in history sounded like this at one point. Sure, he may end up as some sort of baritone in a couple years, but this is what he can sing right now, and I don't see any issue with him singing this rep while he's young and can experiment. Also dude, he sounds like he can barely sing that C#, you think he should be singing baritone rep anytime soon? I'm on the lower end of baritones and this song sits in the middle of my range. I started as bass-baritone and transitioned because my technique got better and revealed an easier top with a more baritonal color. No reason to push people into things they aren't ready to do yet.
