Very nice video calling up my visit at Statfjord B in 1982. Worked for Cummins and went on board for Aggreko to repair two broken 1Mw generatorsets as the main turbines were not yet in operation at that time. The floatel was beside the platform but due to a storm the bridge was diconnected and the floatel pulled away from the platform. I had to sleep on a hard wooden seat with some newspapers under my head. But the job was with good results and the visit very impressive. Nice view on the platforms from the helicopter.

How far is it from Norweigian shores? Those rigs looks massive in size and firm steady at foundation....
