Franklin Graham says PRAYER and Personal Notes are the most important thing and he wants us to send MORE QUALITY TOYS in our shoeboxes and to the processing center as fillers! And that's our aim! We want children to experience delight when opening their shoebox gifts. And may that delight cause them to feel a deep desire to know more about this Jesus who loves them. And may they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior!

Are you interested in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ? Believe in Jesus, admit you have sinned and ask him to forgive your sins. Trust Him and receive him as your Savior and Lord. Read all about God in the Bible, starting in Genesis with creation to understand God and sin and the punishment for sin. Also, read the New Testament to understand what Jesus did, so that we could have forgiveness and redemption from sin. The Bible reveals God's plan for his children and the world. It tells us that Jesus will come soon for his children and we get to live forever with him!
We are blessed to have the Bible so we can know all about him.
I am very glad I can participate with Operation Christmas Child to bring the good news of Jesus and eternal life to the children around the world who have never heard about him. We are making a difference for eternity!

Hi Christy I have exciting news, I had my second personal interview to be on the OCC prayer team., with our area coordinators,and the admin from our regional office has accepted me on the prayer team. For our local area, By Monday she will be emailing me the info so I can began the online training. This is something that I believe the Lord has called me to do.
For us, after going to our first full circle speaker dinner and learned about Yve’s testimony telling us kids were not able to go to school without supplies, hubby and I have made school supplies our number one priority to pack in shoeboxes. We do also try to include some type of plush as well. Soap, washcloths and toothbrushes as well. Our downfall has been not having enough other things to fully fill the boxes. But after watching yours, D Rodgers and a few other TH-camrs sharing ideas, we are definitely trying to make fuller boxes this year! Thank you for all your wonderful ideas!

are you the person who said we cannot pack mermaids? The OCC headquarters say unicorns are fine.
Christy, nor Blessings in a Shoebox has EVER said you cannot pack mermaids or unicorns. This is being slanderously misrepresented by other TH-camrs. Providing information is far different than telling anyone they cannot do something.
@@pamelaknuutila1109 Information is also far different from opinions and preferences. Maybe there should be a clarifying post or video, as other TH-camrs do not seem to be the slanderous type, and accusing them of such seems very odd.
@@lisanapoli6061If they are discussing something and allowing others to chime in on a discussion that they didn't actually see or take part in, it is heresay. Nobody has ever been named or shamed, except for Blessings in a Shoebox. That's wrong, and it should cease. Biblical truth is not an opinion or a preference. All things permissable are not necessarily as beneficial. Fair-minded people can discuss such things without calling the messengers names, such as "unchristian", etc. That's absolutely wrong.

Stay away from blessings in a shoe box. They are a bunch of crazy right wing people.
@@SavingADimeAtATime I just joined, I’m not active on it because I don’t go on Facebook too often but they seem like nice Jesus loving people…. “Crazy right wing people” sounds really harsh and judgy. Can we pack boxes without all this ugliness? We’re all doing this forGod’s glory. Right wingers, left winger, crazies, normies can all pack shoe boxes and be in the body of Christ, i think.

I always look forward to your videos. They are helpful and thoughtful and give me ideas on what to pack and what to avoid. Thanks for the info on unicorns. I will have to look through my bags of plush animals to make sure I didn't buy any for the children.
