Your diagrams in this video are brilliantly simple and clear. Well done and please keep it up.😊

I'm glad it was clear, I try not to over-complicate the diagrams! Hope it helped

Very clear graphics are a major strongpoint of your videos. Its these variables, and the resulting strategies that make sailing so challenging, yet enjoyable. I used to think sailing on inland lakes wasn`t very challenging, but I am now realising that the enjoyment comes from sailing the boat as well as I can and as fast as I can make it go (even when not racing someone else)

Thanks! I agree, it's always changing which keeps it interesting. Getting somewhere quickly isn't all just about boat speed!

@@philswatersports I, recently, was graduated to “skipper” (last September) in my sailing community, HRCS (Hudson River Community Sailing,) as such I’m responsible to give back to the club by teaching to the “green horn fresh sailors” what I’ve learned. There is plenty of material on TH-cam to recommend to these excited new sailors, but this your video is way above the others I’ve found there.

Congratulations! Sounds like a great achievement, well done. It also sounds like a really good club, in the sense that it brings everyone together to share skills with each other. Best of luck with it all.
Many thanks for your lovely feedback too. You might like to share this playlist with the 'green horn fresh sailors' which covers a lot of fundamental sailing skills. Not all of them are suitable for keelboat sailing but there's a lot of useful stuff. Good luck!!
