BMJ reported over 90% of doctors who died from Covid were from ethnic minorities, over 50% have Muslim names. Recently I was reading about Dr Irfan Halim. Our minority communties sacrificed so much to serve and keep this country running during the pandemic. Not just NHS but all the key worker roles like carers, bus drivers, shop workers etc. Creating a seperate class of nationality for us is an insult to their memory and makes a mockery of our tragedy and grief. We have rememberance day to recognise those who served and died. The pandemic was and is our battle where minorities paid the highest price
Yes sweetheart few doctors who was our family friend give they life in pandemic also my son in law suffered because he was working in covid wards my children was key worker and always on high risk I used to be so weird about my children and honestly I believe each of every person in our community work hard to save lives also me and my children and friend visit door to door in pandemic to help venerable people we never think of our lives but help those in need in uk and now we find out that we can be kicked out for little thing like traffic offences 😭
