This is by far Robin's best vocal lead. His body movements are finally right on with the music and its sensational
That's what made them the greatest pop band in history. There are classic rock bands, alt rock bands, etc., but never a straight up pop band who reinvented themselves and did something new and fresh every album for 5 decades.
This just suits Robin's voice. I love it.

Interesting trivia: The original video was even more racy and deemed to sexual for MTV back in 1990. Though it's never been seen by the public, I'm sure it's nothing compared to what's on TV now.
This is my favorite Bee Gees song along with Fanny Be Tender! Ok, plus Too Much Heaven, How Deep Is Your Love, More Than A Woman. These are the most incredibly beautiful ballads that makes me feel I am floating weightless on a cloud. That to me is beautiful music. I can listen to these songs repeatedly the whole day and night. Hands down, the Bee Gees are the most unmatched and talented singing composers. Chad, I have watched a lot of reactions to their music, but I think you do them the most justice. Your analysis/reactions are thoughtful, sincere and extremely gratifying to me as a Bee Gees fan! Keep up the great work! I will keep watching you on TH-cam!

I don't know if this was at my suggestion because I did ask you to analyze it Chad. But I was go glad to see you did. Robin has the sensual vocal tone to pull this off perfectly. He is the main vocalist and although I love Barry, in my opinion though he doesn't have the provocative aspect that Robin has naturally. But robins is perfect 👌 the complete package. And the harmonies between maurice and Barry to accompany robins. The harmonies are the soft and yet really propell this erotic tune about getting busy😂😂😂😂 I got the cd that had this one. Robin is so underrated as a main vocal just listen to fanny be tender when he shares that falsetto with Barry at the final bridge. Wow 👏 😮 👏 💔❤💯

Loved this song, as always I loved Robin's voice, taking nothing away from Barry and Maurice talent. I agree about Greenfields, it's new and though Barry is good on this album you can't help but compare to the originals if you are a Bee Gee fan. I love Robin's vocals he was my favorite, missing Robin and Mo. They would have been thrilled to having other artist perform the songs. They as a group always said it was just as important to have their songs out there, they were song writers, story tellers at heart. Thanks for your reactions to an amazing group
@Gary Walker - When he sang Robin's intro to "How can you mend a broken heart" it was bloody awful!!!! Why does he have to insert himself? Let the other artists do it completely if he wants to keep the songs alive as he claims.
@@susieq9801 The mildly ironic aspect of Greenfield's is that Barry bitched about Robin singing Bee Gee tunes at his concerts. He thought it cheapened their legacy. It looks like the legitimate singing of songs you wrote yourself ( with Barry on most of them) and sang better than anyone else was a cynical money grab but exhuming a parade of performers who have not been relevant since 1982 who can't sing anymore is an homage. I'm being much too harsh because Greenfields is not bad but if Robin "cheapened" the band then Barry whacked it good upside the head and then dragged it behind the wood shed for an old fashioned ass whooping. They both had every right to do as they did but what was sauce for the goose was not always deemed sauce for the gander.
@@susieq9801 why would Barry replace the voice of his brothers esp robin! Wouldnt it be better if he composes other songs and not replace the parts of robin? Just my thinking.
@@amigarcia1959 - My thinking as well. The Bee Gees songs were perfect and the originals, even those that were just unpolished demos, should be left alone. Changing them with new singers, many who are not remotely comparable, would be like painting the pyramids green. You don't mess with something that's iconic. If others want to sing their songs, that's up to them but Barry seems to need validation by inserting himself into the process. He always seems to need to be in control.
For example, I suppose Ed Sheeran is talented but hearing him sing a song like "Massachusetts" paled in comparison. Robin could sing that acapella and make it beautiful. Barry himself said many people copied and even mocked his falsetto. Many people can sing falsetto and had for decades but nobody tried to copy Robin's voice because it was inimitable.
If Barry still need attention, compose and sings his own songs solo.
@@susieq9801 I agree 💯 percent. All of their originals Barry shd have left it untouched. Let others just do covers, not letting others replace the voices of the brothers esp robin and he Barry was with them singing! That's why I never dared listen to Greenfield's. I just can't listen to songs where Robin's voice were replaced.
All their different stages have a nice, lovely, incredible sound with their voices blending and standing out in turn. So, talented, wish I could have seen them in person. Chad please, "one" if you a chance.
Huge song and enjoying reaction .Thanks. From the same awesome album, you should check out other gems.of "ONE" . My fav are "Wing and a prayer" and "Flesh and blood", then "Tears" (very emotional) and "Tokyo nights". Robin sings crazily in "Flesh and blood". Other tracks where his voice is incredible and mind blowing : ''A lion in winter" (from To whom it may concern) and "Method to my madness" (in my top 10, it's the last track from their 1973 LP intitled "Life in a tin can").
Robin really shined with the boy band style songs.
I've never understood the line "and stop before we go too far." Why? Clearly nothing here is suggesting that. 😆
Stop before we go to far is about the couple not breaking up. This song is from the reference of someone who doesn't want to lose the relationship. There's a line relating to something new could be more enticing but it comes back to "a heart like yours ", so it's not all sexual . The bodyguard is the one trying to keep the relationship together.

This is smooth Robin's voice - it is amazing. Maurice always adding the softest harmonies, and Barry coming in. What group does this better? No-one. Don't look at the dancers gyrating. Just LISTEN to the music.

I watch/hear one like this and remember how the record company would "get on them" from time to time about their songs not being racey enough. Just like "Nights on Broadway" was originally "Lights on Broadway" but the record company thought it was too tame and demanded they "mature" it up a bit! 😄
