I'm thinking of building wb eldrazi taxes but it seems to fell from favor... wonder why... seems like a decent matchup against humans.... not so much against hollow one, affinity, infect/bogles.
@@chedattilo That is kind of modern though... I mean it's not tier 1 for sure. Also has a tough time against Phoenix decks, and boggles is tough for a lot of decks. But BW E&T can still be a force against a lot of decks in the format.
I don't know how they determine tournament penalties tbh. In this game there was no advantage gained for looking at the deck, but it could hypothetically be free information if there are face-down cards in exile. i.e. Bomat Courier. Could count cards in the deck.
LOL, man this kid... doesn't even fetch out his 2nd red source in case he draws bolt snap bolt combo, which he in fact does and would have got him out of the bad situation he put himself in.. wtf, would have definitely main casted that izzet staticaster to kill the golem producer be4 he untapped and had either restoration or flickerwisp mana up.. this kid is obviously bad / has never played against D&T be4..

Some peace of mind as the Jeskai player in the match. You are correct, I had never played against or seen the list of D+T. Played off what I've heard about it :) Your criticisms are fair. My deck has no tarns due to cost so my list is to some degree budgeted. Overall I had a great time at my first GP and learned a lot from this match :)
You're a jerk Mr Lacey. Wesley said he has never played against this deck. Obviously you're not going to know all of the creatures played and their impact on the game and what to play around. What I do know now though, is that Wesley now knows how to play around these cards and will have a much better match up against DnT. Everything we do in Magic, be it positive or negative is a learning opportunity, and Wesley had learnt a lot.
LOL, this kid doesn't instantaneously sac his fetch land only to get blown out by arbiter, when it was basically nothing but down-side not to sac his fetch land prior to passing the turn.. especially when you see a freaking vial on 1 going to 2, they're playing white.. Death and Taxes should be bells and whistles as possibly rekt'n you.

That's why it fell out. It has some good matchups and then the matchups it loses, it loses badly.

I had zero play experience against D+T. Game 2 I should have played staticaster better as well. :)
