Thanks for the switch from external mic to plugged in... great way to A/B. The sound of the plugged in preamp is pretty close to the mic sound, and more importantly, is still warm and not quacky.
That was really helpful, as I have just been checking out an ad for one of these on Ebay.. you obviously put some effort into production. Nice sound. Best wishes, Keith - Bristol UK.
Beautiful ! ......thanks for posting .......I have the Taylor BT 8 & have only just got it somewhere nr my liking...tuned C TO C ( with Taylors advise ) & now using the lighter Martin BT Strings for big strumming !.. .I'm now considering a Martin BT J28LSE , but on hearing this may consider an Alvarez......Most seem to be ex USA ...can u advise a typical UK price please ?
Were you panning the sound from left to right any? Because I noticed the sound dropped off a bit;as it got a little hard to hear;and lost the low end bass sound that I like in acoustic-electrics?
Who else is here as they wait for theirs to be delivered? It seems like everytime I order a new guitar it's on a Saturday so I have to wait even longer for it to be shipped 🤣🤦♂️
hi. I really enjoyed your video. so much that I bought one. I also bought a really good capo, but it doesn't really fit well. I wonder what capo you have?
I mostly play strummy stuff, just with a lower key to match my voice. I'm pretty rough on capos, too - I use it on 3 a lot (tuned to B) for a "full-step-down" effect (D tuning), and I strum HARD. The capo stays mostly in place, even with pretty judicious bending down low for country riffs. If you are less gorilla-handed than me, you should have zero issues whatsoever!
It's not a charming sound, like the normal Alvarez acousticks. Too muddy - or is it the way you play it - so far away from the bridge. At any rate, thank you for the demo.
Really great sound test here, definitely the best review I've watched, and I've watched many in the last week. Nice work on the Mario theme too!

Great review. Thanks. Most folks overdrive this guitar but your technique really brings out its best. Comparing it to the newer Ibanez.
Very good video!! Nice playing & demonstration of the sounds!
Very nice demo. I’m all in on this one.

Great playing and review, thanks! :)
Sounds wonderful! Great review, subbed!
Hey, that's actually 2 and half steps down!
Excellent demo. Any idea where they are manufactured?
Korea I think

Nice sound on these.
I want one so bad!
+Yanet Rios Look around on ebay. I found mine for around $300.00 which included the matching hard shell case. Fabulous instrument!!
+Scott Word Nicee, will look.
Great sound, how chunky is the neck?

I have the same guitar, and I find the G7th "Nashville" capo (their "Keyser" type) to work really well.
Thanks Paul. What kind of stuff are you pla
ying on it?

Its a little odd on its own, almost like your hearing in slow mo. Lol I bet the sound would be more complete if you had a guitar standard and a mando!
5 half steps lower, Sir...
