Fantastic review! I have a few questions ;) What is anti-scratch matte card stock and how do you know that is what they are? Regarding the story and the images, the story you read states the little girl is BLIND. Is the girl in the cards the girl the story is about? Why is a Blind girl wearing a Blindfold in the images? I find this makes no sense and is driving me nuts🤣 This is creating a stumbling block for me reading the cards, as it is all I can think about 🤔
Hi 👋 I know it’s anti scratch matte because I can feel it when I touch the cards. It’s a textured matte lamination that makes a swishy sound when you shuffle and does not leave a mark when you run your nail across the card. If you google “anti scratch matte lamination” you’ll provably find a more in depth description. Also Lisa Papez made a great video a few years ago on card stocks and laminations if you are interested. Thanks for stopping by ☺️ As far as the blindfold, I think that’s more of a question for the artist. I can only assume that it’s there to provide a visual representation for her impairment. However, the blindfold is in a lot of the cards so if that is really bugging you that much I’ve heard The Wanderer’s Tarot is a good substitute. Similar vibe, no blindfold. 😉 Thanks for stopping by!
I received the deck 2 days ago the artwork is beautiful. Imho the girl in many cards is unnecessary and strange especially in the major arcana. I don't like the world card which comes across on some levels as negative. Also, I don't get some of the interpretations of a number of cards. So I don't think that I can use it
Awww man. It’s always sad when you get something in and then realize you can’t use it. Personally I don’t find rehoming decks to be the easiest thing in the world so I usually just let them sit for a while and circle back to see if I get into it. I hope you can find your way with this one eventually. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. 💖
@@RobynsReflections Witches Wisdom Tarot and Seasons of the Witch Oracle. Lammas which I got will use 3 weeks either side of Lammas. I'm waiting for 2 other decks in the post: Anna K Tarot. It seems to be in a significant percentage of if I only had 10 mass market decks in you tube videos. However, it's out of print now. This 2nd hand deck that I'm waiting on is the mass market edition and was £30 including postage fee which I feel is cheap enough. I'm intrigued with it, it doesn't seem to have much diversity but the people are not stereotypically physically attractive and I really like some of the interpretations of some cards. The 2nd deck is The Good Fortune Tarot by Barbara Moore This will definitely lift my disappointment with Beneath the Oak Tarot which I knew was a chance purchase .
@@ilanakali1030 Sounds like you have some nice decks to keep you busy. I actually have the Good Fortune Tarot, and I’ve been enjoying that one quite a bit.
If I had to pick a deck to represent my spirit, this would be the deck. I love it so much!
How cool! A deck for your spirit…love that!
What a beautiful deck. I will have to invest in it.
Enjoy! And thank you for watching and commenting 💖

The artwork is amazing!! I think this would be better as an oracle deck though. The artwork doesn't quite match what I want from tarot.
How interesting! I haven’t considered it as an oracle deck. Would you add keywords or just use it intuitively?

@@RobynsReflections thanks for your advice.
I intend to let it sit for a while and revisit it
I have so little time and other decks that I prefer
@@ilanakali1030 Do you have a current deck crush?
