Abe Cunningham is taking the drumming on another level on Digital Bath. You really have to nail all those small details, hihat work and the ghost notes, while you try to keep the up beat pulse of the groove. Not even talking about how beautiful this song is, that is something obvious, right? :)

All this while anchoring a metal band, using zero double pedal. Which is what everyone else in their genre was doing at the time. And still are today.

Great cover buddy, I was also a drummer until I became paralyzed 3 years ok. I use to love playing this song, I can remember where I was and what I was doing when this album came out. I bought the CD and played it the entire time I went back to Newfoundland to visit family. I also stood on a cliff and belted out this song to the heavens. It was awesome, it was a beautiful day. Abe doesn’t get the credit he deserves in the “linear playing” realm. He makes more out of that style of playing on a regular basis than almost anyone else I’ve heard. Making that stuff groove and feel good is an artform unto itself.
The drums are powerful in this song, yet not too technical. I love it! Nice job!
Its not an easy song. Sure its not as complex as other "technical" genres but its definitely out of the box when you compare it with songs from other bands in the genre. I've seen many drummers on TH-cam not getting this song right and this is solid.
My drum-skills have never been good enough for this song (bloody hobbyist). I have no words how much I appreciate finally having been able to see how this amazing song is properly played on the drums!! And I have to agree with the other commenters, you absolutely nailed it!

this is one of my all time favorite groove feel tracks. while i do feel you did a good job, it is virtually impossible to imitate someone's feel 100% (think fool in the rain) and the feel on this track, for me, is incredible...Again, you did a good job, much MUCH better than I could've done...and I've tried 🤜🤛
