    I, like you, also prefer to only read out of necessity. My wife however is like yours, and loves to read. She is in love with these bookmarks. You did a great job, they look fantastic. I love the texture that hammer puts on. I am not familiar with the finish you used on them - can you tell me more about it? Thanks!

      Sure, it's trewax paste, applied while around 1000 degrees it absorbs into the steel top layers and when cooled becomes a rustic bronze. I then buff and wipe out all excess leaking a smooth water resistant non smudging finish.

    Very nice! I appreciate the warning to use thin steel so as not to damage the spine of the books. Also appreciate your repurposed HF hammer!

      Well he's finished and been shown for some time now. I opted to division the build via tiktok due to time constraints and my wife's health. And pending surgeries.

    What kind of.magnet is that?

    • @wrotiron
      @wrotiron  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is the magnet off of a Sony Xplod 15 inch subwoofer works extremely well I've seen other types of magnets from even larger subwoofers that would probably work better without the hole in the center thank you for the question
