How to Advance a Wellbeing Narrative

The narratives we live with and adhere to shape the way we view and interact with the world. Wellbeing narratives, slowly gaining traction around the world, set human and planetary wellbeing as the definition of progress, centering policies, budgets and other actions on that goal.
Accelerating this work in cities and countries around the world requires a broader narrative about progress-shifting from economic growth at all costs to wellbeing for all people and harmony with the natural world.
In this session, Anita Chandra of RAND Corporation and Jennifer Messenger of Metropolitan Group, will present key insights from their work on advancing a wellbeing narrative. They will reflect on what it will take to establish a new narrative, strategies and considerations when engaging diverse sectors, and how they've addressed the challenges of this work.
