Water all the way! Unless it’s a vinegar spray, I just feel anything marketed towards windows/mirrors is just a gimmick!

I bought a steam mop but I never use it! I always grab the Vileda spray mop because it’s so easy to use and so light compared to the steam mop

I haven't had a dishwasher in years. We will have one in our new space so this was a great reminder to clean it before using it lol.
There are special microfiber cloths for cleaning glass and mirrors. I use a wet one for removing the dirt and a dry one for streak free drying. Better than anything I've ever tried before!
I use a damp cotton cloth with regular water and wipe the mirrors with a microfiber cloth right after. Not a streak!👌
I had a request for a video idea, I've been watching for a long time and love your summer and winter capsule videos. I know you mentioned you just got into working out more, and I myself love working out . I always struggle to find any capsule minimalist athletic apparel .I work out once a day and you possibly do it lesser but if you could provide any content like that it would be greatly appreciated. Moving is rough. We had boxes stacked to the ceiling. It took for ever for us to get it all put away. I want a little bigger place. But I don’t want to move again. It’s nice to have a washer in your apartment. I’m not sure what I would do if I didn’t have one. We had to live like pioneers, when we first moved to our house. No power or water. Now that I’m used to it. I freak out when the power goes out. It’s usually some tree that takes down the power lines.I love the new apartment. I like the kitchen tiles. The color is great. You will be settled in no time.
I‘ve heard you shouldn’t use glass cleaner on mirrors because it will rust or damage the mirror. I’ve heard using a wet microfiber cloth and a dry one after works best 😊 great video!

I like to use diluted vinegar (2 parts water, 1 part vinegar) for a super cheap all natural window cleaner. Just wipe with a cheap paper towel. Bougie paper towels will leave a little lint behind. The vinegar smell dissipates very quickly, so don’t worry about your house smelling like a salad 😂

For the mirror, if you use newspaper instead of a cloth to wipe the windex off, it won't leave streaks. Just remember to change the newspaper once it gets a bit soggy or else it will leave particles behind. My mom taught me this trick and it works really well 😊

This is a good tip. Many name-brand paper towels have softener that make streaks on your mirror. Cheap paper towels also work.
the trick to not getting streaks on your mirror/glass windows is using NEWSPAPER instead of paper towels!! I learned this trick from a restaurant I used to work at and it's never failed me
I use invisible glass on my mirrors/glass surfaces. Sometimes I will do a wet cloth wipe down first if there is dirt (like on a window). Congrats on 200k 🎉
Newspaper will give you a streak free clean on the mirror. Also, as a renter who has moved 4 times in the last 2 years, I am super envious of how easy you made this look😅but super happy for you and can't wait to see how you make the place your own. And how good is moving-in floor pizza!

One organization tip I can recommend for tall cabinets is shelf stackers. I picked up a few so I could separate large and small plates but still use all the vertical space offered. It’s great in a pantry too! Enjoy the new place!
Hiya Christina! Your new place looks great! Tip for the bars in the cupboard ... put an elastic band around the box, it should stop bars from coming out when you grab one.

For the mirror, stop using mirror or glass cleaner and just use dishwashing soap in a low concentration. Also don't use paper towels but two micro fibre cloths, one for cleaning and one for drying :)

My husband is a window washer! To avoid streaks: after cleaning the mirror/window, use a dry towel to buff it dry. Work the dry towel in circles until all the moisture is gone, and voila! No streaks! ✨

ULTIMATE mirror hack: Use news paper instead of the cloth/wipes/paper towels ect.. along with the cleaning spray of course
For glass, chrome, etc. get Norwex Envirocloths. A serious game changer! One wet cloth, one dry cloth, no chemicals, the cloths have antibacterial properties in them, NO STREAKS! I don’t sell it, just a fan.

Windex with newspaper works or 50/50 vinegar and water with microfibre cloth
What the others said about cleaning the mirror - use paper. If you don't have a newspaper, kitchen roll (paper towel) will do, or even toilet paper. Also, if you put vinegar in the washing water, and just the tiniest amount of washing up liquid (dish soap).
A TINY bit of dish detergent in lots of water… wipe the mirror with a microfiber rag/soap mix.. then squeegee off. Spotless. We have a window cleaner who does all the house windows in and out. I had a big floor mirror that I could never get done without streaking. He showed me this and I threw out all the dumb window “cleaners”.. a joke and waste of time.

For windows and mirrors, i use a few drops of dish soap in water. No need to rince.

Use a wet microfiber cloth. No cleaner. Dry with another microfiber cloth. No streaks.
The only way that I found to prevent mirror streaking is to buy a Karcher Window Vac and use that instead. It works wonders on windows, mirrors and walking shower glass
If you live near Marry Be kitchen, try their brunch! It's so good! But you have to eat it in, makes it better, I think! *box emoji*

Don’t wash the dishes windows in the hottest/ brightest part of the day. It evaporates too quickly to avoid streaks.
I don't know why but wiping the mirrors with newspaper always prevents streaks.

When I worked in a restaurant and had to clean glass doors, I was taught to use glass cleaner and newspaper to wipe down the glass. Always came out streak-free!

Happy new home! Love all the sunlight. A DIY glass cleaner I've used for years - 1 cup rubbing alcohol, 1/4 cup ammonia, 1/2 tsp Dawn dish detergent, 22 ounces of water. Spray the cleaner on your cloth, not on the glass.
for the mirror cleaning after cleaning any dirt or dust off I do a last pass with newspaper with some windex, works like a charm!
