- Suella Braverman has been sacked as home secretary as Rishi Sunak took action following her unauthorised article criticising the way pro-Palestinian protests had been policed.
A No 10 source said the Prime Minister “asked Suella Braverman to leave Government and she has accepted”, with James Cleverly taking her job.
Julia Hartley-Brewer clashes with Byline TV’s Caolan Robertson over Suella Braverman’s comments accusing police of bias when dealing with protesters.
“Some of the organisers are ex-Hamas. The police have a duty to act! To say this is all rhetoric is nonsense."

Suella Braverman did NOT undermine the Police. She merely told the truth about them. If the Police think telling the truth is 'undermining', I'd suggest they look for different employment.
It's clear to me, they don't have the necessary 'values', required to Police this country successfully.

All Suella did was notice and point out that the police had been standing around like statues whilst for weeks mobs of pro-Hamas supporters have climbed on our statues,draped them in flags,screamed for intifada and intimidated passers by.
Except they didn’t do that did they? The police said that violence at those protests has been minimal, represented by the fact that few propalestine protesters have been arrested. On the other hand, we had more than 100 far right protesters who were arrested for disrupting armistice day. Patriots my arse.

We are seeing the Patriots now because Remembrance Day was at risk of being violated. That's the reason people came to support our veterans and remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms that we have today.
Also it had to be a high profile reason to be there, otherwise as we know, any lesser cause and they would be arrested for blowing their nose.

I'm no fan of Tommy Robinson, don't know much about him, but happened to watch a live feed from the Armistice event from someone who was following TR the whole time. He walked down to The Cenotaph, said hello to some people on the way, a scuffle broke out in the distance (nothing to do with TR), he observed the 2 minute's silence and then walked back to his awaiting cab - so what? Is that far right now, to simply show up and pay respects to the fallen? The whole narrative is garbage, take anything you can't verify yourself with a pinch of salt, no matter which side it's coming from.
This has happened to him many many times which is why he takes cameras and live streams everywhere, the media twist and lie all the time to make him look bad.

HOW is Tommy Robinson far right? What has he done that makes him far right? Julia makes a point of stressing that police inaction gave certain groups an 'excuse', whereas I would have been more comfortable with the word 'reason'. and that she has no time for the likes of Tommy Robinson et al, dismissing them as 'far right' and 'racist' as opposed to right wing or even 'patriotic''; it just saddened me that she felt the need to make such a distinction because I feel it they are currently the most overused and misapplied terms there are.

Police were totally at fault for their two-tier policing. When there was the BLM march the police officers took the knee to show their support, when it was the lgbtq march they had rainbow police cars and officers with rainbow-coloured makeup on. For Armistice day,, not one police officer wore the poppy, clearly showing their support for the Muslim community at the march and tried kettling the British supporters and preventing them from getting anywhere near the Cenotaph. I watched a stream and after the veterans left the Cenotaph the British supporters started to leave the area and Tommy Robinson was picked up by a taxi and left the area yet mainstream news was saying that he had led the EDL into Chinatown and throwing stuff at the police. I don't support the EDL at all but believe they had disbanded years ago and mainstream media should not be lying about anybody carrying out violent act against the police.

I was going to go to London Saturday and I’m not far right wing. I noticed the difference between one group holding signs whilst the others threw bottles arguement being used.
Not one mention of the attacks later on that evening from the large group that broke off from the Pro-Palestinian march. Fireworks set off at the police injuring multiple officers.
Not one mention of the attacks on Synagogues with police required to evacuate Jewish people.
Not one mention of the member of the public attacked next to the march for disagreeing with them when he was walking down the street.
Not one mention of officers attacked when trying to arrest one and being hit with bottles and other things.
Feel free to protest as is your right but enough with the one sided reporting that wont dare condemn anything negative done on these marches.
Maybe instead of marches, a peaceful gathering in one location displaying an actual example of peace and solidarity would be a better way of getting your point across rather than many people marching through London leaving many people feeling scared and intimidated. Just a thought 🤔
