All aimed at Splitsie, which isn't weird at all...? 5 - the Jalopy really aspires to being a accordion and has made several attempts now to achieve that evolution... And finally 6 - Splitsie is a optimistic pessimist... I assume that this means he thinks his cups half empty but is content that he can get a refill...? Keep up the greatness!!!

Wow! What a fantastic dogfight. Cant believe this is made in Space Engineers. Looked more like a advanced AAA flight simulator. Good pilots and good engineers building/designing those planes. Impressive to watch.
You need to change the Fixed piston Drill for the Chain Drill on wheels that can dragged along drilling while your driving slowly, but be pulled up by a piston when your reversing.
An epic conclusion would be the "NPCs" defending the Pole with their own large-grid Rover-Train-Of-Death. It'd be especially epic if, during the battle, they decoupled their train into three separately-controlled attack rovers in a sudden surprise encirclement maneuver!
That dogfight between Kanajashi and Wasted reminds me Trigger vs Mihaly on the crags (forgot which mission of ace combat 7) sans the rain and thunder. Well done boys
I actually found out about this series by kanajashi building this hydrogen station in his space engineers season 4 and mentioning splitsie blowing it up in "wrong way up" which led me to search for wrong way up to find out what it is, neat to see where that happened.
Do your rules for wrong way up allow you make a remote operated rocket? To try and get to the high altitude bomber, (only have one at a time) if so you could call them Tom Cruise missiles
Since these are live streams I have two choices when it gets to pea-soup level fog: sit around making everyone bored while we wait or keep driving and try my best to do so without crashing but with most likely getting slightly lost. I'm always going to do the second because I kinda enjoy the challenge and I don't want people to get bored :)
I keep wondering, why you dont put up a few lcd and just set them to show weather? Maybe you could even tie it in with some speaker so when acid rains starting it would give an alarm.

that dogfight was epic... it truly is a pity SE doesn't have proper flight mechanics, or control systems so we could use flight sticks with pitch, yaw and roll over the current system in place... cos i feel that dogfight would have gone very differently if it had :) GG W4sted and Kanajashi :)

@@shaneedwards596 Yeah that's what I bought mine for also, but I worked out that with some messing about in Joystick Gremlin binding it as a single virtual controller I can get analogue on all axis. It's a lot of fun and absolutely killer for spectator camera stuff!

Need a solar powered rover with decent cargo space, scout out some ice and do a run to fuel the big rover enough to go out and fill itself up on it; need more storage on the big rover too, containers replacing some of the conveyor junctions would help. And with the placement of the wheels, an underslung “spine” of cargo containers and conveyors would work too.
Nope, spiders have always been very buggy so I've not tended to use them much - which is sad as I think they could have been cool if they were well made and perhaps just a bit smaller
I have had to reload a few times lately to clear up bug, more than usual. Like I could not get to halves of a ship to merge that I was shortening with the piston trick. The blocks would come down to a few cm and the pistons would stop. nothing was in the way. F5 fixed it. PITA!
I know Splitsie has this thing for getting Capac killed once an episode , but what about burying some beacons on the centre line of the runway for an ILS system? Only need to have a broadcast range of 1Km for the end of runway marker and 750m for the rest.
After watching this series, I'll only be using the physics mod for ground vehicles and down force. I see more "aircraft" crawling along the ground than flying. I'd rather use the plane parts mod and have fun than use the physics mod for flying. The drag id too harsh because it's constant, instead of practically non-existent at slow speeds to more viscous the faster you go. My only complaint with the plane parts mod is there isn't any discernible drag, unless you use the air-brakes and then there is too much drag.

Anyone still remember the original Battlefield, second or third dlcs secret weapons of world war 2... maybe they need a V1 just prinkt, warhead one way thrust and gyro... suicide run into the bombers.
That bombing was pretty effective. How about a reverse runway clamshell design to protect the crane? That should at least protect you from a single salve.
If you continue watching you'll see tex finish a clamshell exactly like the one you describe. He'd just not quite finished it yet when Kanajashi dropped his package.

Honestly I think the thrust rule should be changed to all thrusters can only be pointed in the same direction this would open up building to more interesting designs like helicopters and vtols.

Two words: Acid Rain. Also we're under constant attack and partially built blocks are glaring weak points. By the end of the episode we've got so much stuff we don't have enough room for it all.

My only criticism so far, put some more good damn lights on the side of the thing, it'll be easy for you to drive, plus easy for us to see all your driving at night ;-)
Hi folks, so I joined this series a bit late in the game and I'm confused about something. Is Kanajashi actually playing on the server as well, as the enemy, or is that just some really good scripting? 'Coz i thought all the enemies were bots, but the coms chatter looks legit.
I am extremely lucky and have a group of people who are playing the bots - including kanajashi. It's made for some very fun encounters that would be impossible any other way :)

you should have a runnway the other way and use merge blocks when level, or pistons to make it level and get a long nice runway over two rovers. also, add front wheels that are higher up than the others and you can get down ravines better.

I had no idea that lcds could display weather, sounds useful. I wonder if it can handle modded weather behaviors though

you need two more foldy bits on the runway at the sides so you can land pull off to the side lock fold then go. Then you wouldnt need an elevator.
Arent the bolders a bunch of ores stuffed together? Only time they put a large grid Drill on it, it didnt really drill it, it klanged through it...
The boulders should be one ore mottled with stone, there are some bugs in multiplayer that cause the boulders to be inconsistent to say the least
Natures slowest Bird is the American Woodcock which has a max speed of 5mph, don't hate on owls lol.

1:25:26 at this angle the Jalopy train looks like a Colossus artillery tank.
One unfair point is that unless the bots use jet packs they have no way to get on the big rover and beseige the medkit.
There's no reason for them to attack our survival kit. To do so would be series ending which would be very unsatisfying for everyone involved
