Caught him live in The Breedon Bar & Border Cafe, Birmingham, England before it burned down a long time ago and then as one of The Flatlanders at Vicar Street, Dublin not so long ago. Would love to see him live in Texas if he would be so good as to send me on the fare!

Had never heard the original, just the Joe Ely. This is nice but I prefer Joe's version.
