    What, I thought the bulb would rot if you have them sit in the water like that. Only the very bottom where the potential root would grow should touch the water, no? Am I wrong?

      Mugen for what ever reason she take hers out n clean things so she won't get for maybe? Bit as someone answered if always in water shouldn't for because of that only if something environmental causes it to have rot. And really she doesn't have to take things out n clean. It's a plant for goodness sakes just keep the outside wiped clean and leave the inside alone like you would with all other plants and let the do what they automatically will do if You only place it where it needs to be for whatever type of light simulation it needs.

      She needs to change the water because they are rotting and tinting the water, (and probably stinking to high heaven). Only the absolute bottom needs to TOUCH the water. This encourages the roots to delve down towards the water.

    Place bulbs and then water, genius.

    Much mis information. Most bulbs require cold period to bloom. Bulbs without roots will tip over.

    Should bulbs be emerged in water completely or just roots to be dipped in water

    Are those bulbs really lilies? They look like gladiolus or irises bulbs. Still really good info. Can’t wait to try different bulbs in water. Thanks!

    How do you replant hyacinth bulb into soil after blooms died in hydro without rot?

    • @annedwards358
      @annedwards358 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      no replanting after forced hydro: its better to go dig a hole because they will come back every year
