Who would have thought that the director of XIV and the Producer of XVI were so close and now we're getting a crossover of the two games. It's a shame we've never seen them in the same room together though, they have a lot in common.

This song goes hard while riding Torgal throughout Eorzea in FFXIV. Really gives you the sense you're on a mission to save the world.

Loved the FFXIV x FFXVI event.
Especially the Event Ifrit fight.
The Retaliation Mechanic should be a part of the main combat system, would spice up the combat IMO.
Also Torgal is now my main mount, just because of this song.

When I first heard this I thought it was a FFXV song.
Gives me joy to think this is the Ifrit theme we would have gotten had Soken the chance in FF14. I like the Nobuo theme too, but that was originally made as the overall "primal" theme and was later repurposed for the Ifrit battle.
I think theres the issue of you putting a second round of Dig Dig Dig etc after the first set when iirc they are layered over each other?
I don't believe in gods, but if there are any, Soken is the god of music with how many incredible tracks he produces

@@ibuki-chan5654didn’t help that because it was known the Phoenix (through Joshua) blessed him any fire powers he manifested naturally as the dominant of ifrit was attributed to the Phoenix blessing.

@@HeadBangerExtremeUltima can’t control who gets chosen as a vessel for an Eikon though. Towards the end of the game, Ultima keeps cursing the fact that out of all the people that could have become Ifrits vessel, it had to be Clive with his iron will that keeps defying Ultima

@@LodyPolskieNarodowe Dealing with trauma is difficult for a dramatic script. Clice solves it quickly, Cloud went on a journey that lasts almost throughout the game

I feel like "Torn from the Heavens" will always be a part of the main character themes in Soken scored games. And I'm okay with that.

I think the thing I love most is Ifrit's role in a lot of FF is the rebel of fate, he is often like in 15 punished in some way for rebeling against what he should be doing. It's why i think they make him an early summon so often. To have him aid the WoL in rebelling against a "fate" some greater being is trying to force upon them. Knowing 16s story it's just that much more fitting that our boy makes a return in the one being determined enough to stand against fate completely. Gods FF lore is so good.
Many of his lore actually borrowed from Prometheus, the Titan who gave humanity fire thus helping human to create civilization. It's the same in FFXV, a rebel to the Gods, just like Prometheus

15 Ifrit is big mad at the other gods for letting humanity torture and ultimately kill the mother goddess Eos. If it wasn't for Ifrit burning his own body with EOS The darkness would have consumed the world much sooner.

The voice acting for this game went as hard as the music. They didn't have to, but they did anyways. Hopefully with Square splitting from the Sony exclusive plan, more people will come to appreciate the cinematic beauty of this game.

Every single character in this game is voiced to perfection, and Ben Starr's performance as Clive is one of the best I've ever seen.

I found myself just unconsciously smiling when I finished this sequence because I knew I had just witnessed a masterpiece. FFXVI had wowed me a few times until that moment, but this was the moment I knew that it was really something special. The finale using this them when Clive absolutely smashed Ultima rounded the game out more satisfyingly than I ever could have guessed.
Actually, the finale uses “All As One”

Ifrit was the first primal that the Warrior of Light has faced in FFXIV and now Shadow Ifrit will be the last in Endwalker, i think Bahamut, Garuda and Titan might appear too in the crossover
Ultima...Ultima...Ultima...you know the more i think about it he's pretty similar to the Ascian Altima. He might even be another creation of Lahabrea. Might be wrong but this feels like an extension of 14 meaning Clive may have some connection to the WoL and Ardbert. Before anyone says anything we know from 14 that the further a shard is from the source the weaker the Aether. Meaning although the first is similar it is possible a later shard would be so weak. That those born with mana would be rare and they would still struggle to handle ie. Well except for a shard of Azem of course.
This could be the most amazing video game soundtrack ever. Up there with SotN
