Its super sad when you are a 2016 player who used to play tycoons and battle games all the time. No matter what age rating these nostalgic games are, they are still for everyone.
joined in 2013, I wish the games were still similar, but now roblox depends on the community EVEN more to make clothes, and all that and you barely see official roblox items anymore
i am the same. the part that effected me is that they removed the audios in the tycoons. it is sad and now there is just a lack of good audio. also a game on roblox is a 1:1 of roblox 2016-2017 called RO2016

as a 15 yr old i agree its sadder yet i dont remember the 2016 (when i started) roblox almost at all but these songs are all bangers (rip my old accounts one, lost to time; the other password error and new pc i still remember the users of both but my first was half gibberish something like dhgfjkl ( my initials are d.f) the game from back then that i remember vividly is 2 player wizzard tycoon which was at top of the main page at the time. my second main game_void102 previously game_god102 but i had a perma name switch for 1k bobuc made the acc in 2017. current acc BlueEmptySoul an account my sis made for like a creepypasta which i stole bc she didnt use much and had a decent name none of these are display names btw

Seems like a lot of people alike me had joined in 2016, what a great year wasn't it..
I would do anything to reverse time to back then and play those super nostalgic games again and again on loop with my old school friends.
Too bad Roblox is moving on now, removing R6 and becoming more money driven instead of focusing on user satisfactory.
Roblox isn't the same without "xXshadowtheangleXx" and "Unicornlover418275" pushing me off the mcdonalds obby french fry.

i agree on that one. time does fly. back then roblox was a big thing on youtube, and kids from mid 2015 to 2018 played roblox in their golden days. it still is good.

Roblox has became worse, i was a lil late to the party, (2017 - 2018) but i remember when i saw people wearing ducks on their heads and cool accessories, now its just people with broken off heads and legs, and they just use terms that truly makes then look stupid and have sense, like BTC, etc. like just speak normal English and dont make issues.
I joined sometime in 2016, and I remember playing tycoons, Epic Minigames, Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51, Meep City, parkour games, and other games and I remember hearing these songs and listening to this brings me so much nostalgia and memories 😭✨
I remember i used to play that super lucky blocks pvp game, and ALWAYS played that one zombie area 51 game, it probably got taken down but SUCH good memories.

roblox is one hell of a game. Even after everything, the bad updates, the removal of certain stuff, the community, those stupid C+P games that are botted onto the frontpage, it still has a soft spot in my heart.

Ok man, this music is actual peak AND nostalgic at the same time. Roblox is actually such a long trip through memory lane. These were actual bangers, and was at the time meep city wasn't invaded by colonisers (slenders and trolls)
We were having fun, so many youtubers that made good videos, and the animations and games were just wonderful than they were now unlike the 5000000 Simulator games. We didn't know we were making memories and we took things for granted - ROBLOX Myth's, The Pals, Jailbreak and many other games were still golden with good updates. It was so good back then, some games don't have the passion behind the project and I can see that in the home page. Even the old roblox (Corporate Wise) actually cared about us. Now they don't - but I still love everything they did and I'm happy that I got to experience this.

2016 player here! It’s quite sad to see how the state of Roblox has changed over the years. What used to be a fun and genuine passion project has turned into something corporate and bland. They never think about their players anymore, only the money. Unless someone from the older Roblox community takes over if David ever decides to step down, I don’t think Roblox will ever be the same.

I started playing in 2016, I dont remember of almost nothing, the only thing that I remember of this year is playing Roblox for the first time (an simple obby), it was before the tix end, like february or april, I played all 2016 as a Guest, my first account was in 2017 and I lost it, that year was incredible, my first egg hunt and the first time I played NDS and FTF and the first time I saw limiteds and BC (current Premium), I didnt have money (because I was an 8 year old kid) so I never had robux till 2021, sometimes I think Roblox dont have the same magic of before, it was so simple and so incredible at the same time. (If theres something wrong, I still learning English and used the Translator to write some parts)
