im currently studying for step 2, i have been following your journey since step 1. you have come a long way, keep at it. it was so nice to hear that you prioritized you mental health and wellbeing over that position, gave me a way to better thinking for myself. thank you and keep gong!
By next year this time, you will be uploading, on how you matched. Keep a positive attitude and you will definitely get to achieve your goals. You are an inspiration to all IMG. Keep doing the good work.
Thank you so much, Sarang for your honest words! I am praying for you and I know God has the perfect program in stock for you and I can't wait to watch your future announcement video as regards that. I am commencing my Steps this year and I want you to know that you inspire me a lot. Keep pushing! God bless you!
Hi Sarang, I have been following you since 2 years and all of your videos are ABSOLUTELY HELPFUL! You are a very strong human and an amazing doctor!! All the best for match, sending lots of prayers your way!!
Thank you 😊 I think I already know the reason now and am truly grateful for everything He has planned out for me! Thank you for your prayers and yes, I look forward to sharing good news with y’all :)
Best of luck, Dra Sarang. When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. Keep working hard. You will be an amazing physician. 🌟🌟
You can do research online with Usmle Sarthi or with Med Students Network without traveling and staying in New York City I live in Boston Massachussets
I really admire you a lot. You're a Christian (not many people on this USMLE Journey are) and you're very inspiring. The fact that you followed your peace and chose to stay with your Church community. That's so beautiful. I'm praying for you and trusting that God will surpass your Expectations in JESUS name! Amen
Hello, Doctor. Happy New Yea! I recently moved to the US and is an IMG. i have not done externships/observerships. Im a fresh grad in the field of medicine from the Philippines Im planning to take the USMLE. Any advices that you can help me, Doctor? Do i need to do externships/ observerships? I am really lost right now doc. Thank you so much, Doc!
Hi Is it possible continuing residency program (which is in Germany) in America by passing the relevant exams or I will start in Amerika this residency program from first year
Hi Sarang! What medical school did you go to the Philippines? I think you made the right decision on giving up on the unpaid research position. What you need is US clinical experience with direct patient care.. you might want to shadow one of the attendings in the hospital you'll be working as you mentioned, and ask for a recommendation later..😊 good luck to you!
Hi, I am currently in the first year of medical school in thailand and I have some questions i really need to ask about USMLE! 1. I really want to take the USMLE exam as soon as possible. If I understand it correctly, I can only take the step 1 exam when I started the third year of medical school right? Is there anyway to take the exam sooner than that? 2. When can I take the step 2 CK and step 2 CS exam? Can I also take it in the third year of medical school? 3.The same question😂😂 When can I take the step 3 exam of USMLE? I really want to finished the USMLE before I started my sixth year of medical school in thailand because externship in thailand is really brutal. If there are any suggestions, please tell me. Thanks!
sarang may I ask you what type of speciality do you plan to match in ,is it a competitive one?i'm just trying to figure out possible reasons why you didn't match cause I think you definitly deserve matching❤
@@SarangChoiMD why not give PLAB/MRCP a thought while trying for this elusive US residency? Atleast they pay decent and there is an opportunity to enter into a training program if this doesn't work out. Plus there is immense opportunity to do research and publish in high impact british journals. And who knows NHS experience may be considered with so much regard by american PDs
The unpaid research position tried to exploit you. Why would anyone move to the tundra in MN for an unpaid position. I don't care how prestigious the place is do not agree to being exploited like that.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of unpaid research positions out there that a lot IMGs do end up taking - to increase their chances of matching and to improve their cv

I just told her the same thing in comments, for her previous video!! maybe the speciality she is willing to isn't "img friendly"...
How many rotation did you do in USA
I’ve been in the US clinical setting for a year and a half now!
@@SarangChoiMD can you make a video on how many research you did
Might as well find a source of income while you are there or work elsewhere where you can support yourself and onward in this journey
I already am! :) thank you
