I don't think he chose the song, but he still shocked everyone. I learned about him through AGT, and I am completely in love with his voice. His gift is amazing and he got that gift and turned into pure perfection. I have been watching his social media covers and reading about his story and how he tough himself and how he learns each song passionately, in his own language and then in English, which he doesn't even speak fluently. He is phenomenal.

It was a beautifull show of Gabriel, he always sing too beautifull!!! But despite of a nice music, it appeared not be strong enought for this moment of competicion.... There were several other musics from Gabriel repertory more indicated and that could increase the probably of him to go to the final.... Gabriel is a phenomenon. He couldn't have sang any better because he sang this song perfectly. In fact, I wholeheartedly believe his interpretation of this song is better than the original singer, Jacob Banks. His vocal acrobatics and whistle tones are what sets him above any other singer I've ever heard. The way he sings so effortlessly is beyond impressive. I really need someone to tell me when and where I can buy a CD made of all of his covers. I'll even buy a CD in Portuguese if I have to. I'll support his music career in any way I can. I would do anything to see him perform live.
