Why not use the F6F-3N? You get the cannons which are handy in ground attack

7:57, why did you switch your shot to the turret? That lower plate shot would have destroyed him for sure. My most played tank in game is the Jackson(it's my favorite tank in game), so if anyone needs any pointers on it, let me know :)

CAS needs to be more expensive, all three of my deaths in a match yesterday were from planes.

@@UnbuckledStraw That is a horrible stat to use, yesterday 20 of my deaths were from the TKX... does that mean its OP or needs to move up in BR? What if CAS cost a minimum of 1000 SP and I spawn that plane and manage to get 5 kills with it, does that mean its still too cheap because I was able to get 5 kills?
It is unbelievably easy to shoot down CAS in AA but mostly in "clean wing" planes that carry nothing but good old air belts, I would say that CAS from about 11.0 up is useless (mostly when facing the russians) because of how cheap it is to spawn AA and the fact that you can shoot down the AGM mid flight. For the lower BR's CAS is a little easier but still not OP. For example, my russian line up at 5.7 has far superior CAS options then USA, this is because russians planes are just really good at killing other planes and as it turns out thats a lot more useful than killing cheap SP tanks with bombs, if you kill a fully loaded AD4, AD2, P47 or F8F they will have waisted at least 700 SP... CAS is not as effective as you think, its actually almost a waist of SP, provided the enemy has a balanced team of their own planes and AA.
You just don't like the idea that you can die to something that you have little to no chance in defeating at the moment, but how is that different than an M18 flanking your team and getting 10 kills, if you didn't see him you also had no way of fighting back.
Remember that GRB is very much a team centered game mode, in order for your team to not be destroyed you need to have a balance of vehicles, clean wing planes to fight off CAS, CAS of your own to take out tanks that are holding powerful positions, AA to also counter CAS and enemy clean wings, and last but most important... you need tanks on the ground, because at the end of the day thats what wins the game
@@SHEEPS_123 the point of cas being unbalanced is there is no opportunity to fight back even if you see him unless you have your own plane or an anti air, the m18 point is moot because it is still possible to kill the m18 before it kills you if you see it, but if you see a plane zeroed in on you five km out, unless you have an aa, youre cooked. cas may be "balanced" in your eyes, but any weapon you can die to without having the chance to fight back is not a good weapon for the fun of the game.
also with the balance of aa and cap planes to counter cas, when have you ever seen that, i know i take fighters out with no bombs bc i hate cas with a passion, but its very rare to see teammates willingly spawn in fighters to not bomb people or anti air when they die to air, they usually only spawn in spaa when they have no sp left, and by that point aa is useless bc the ground battle is already decided at that point.
if you die to a thing a shitload of times, sure it may be a better tank than your own, but if the only way you die in 5 or so matches is through planes, thats a bad balance idea, bc if you go crazy on the ground and then kill the wrong person who then spawns a plane, you arent allowed to have fun anymore and gotta spend a couple of minutes going from spawn, getting to the battle and then going back to reposition near the fight, its just not a fun mechanic in the game.
finally, cas being useless at 11.0 up, thats just false, the only reason most nations cant fly it anymore is because the pantsir is just that much better than any other nations spaa, the russians still get to fly the su27s and the ka50/52s which are horrible to play against, its just really poor balance from gaijin.
cas may not be effective, but its still a bad game mechanic and not fun to play against.
these things arent even the same BR. HSTV: and F-16C is a far better combo
